You're constantly putting quality material. Great videos with such warm and friendly approach, very different from all the other guitar based channels on RUclips. I'm bragging about your work to all of my friends in the last few months. Keep 'em coming and greetings from Bosnia.
The open strings in mikes chords evokes the feeling of slow smoke and the smell of incense rolling early when you forget your coffee is waiting on your amp.
One of your best yet. Mike is such an underrated player. You didnt mention his use of effects but that is as much of his style as his chord/note choices. He's an innovator and an original in so many ways. Thanks so much
"Just a Phase!" !!! I was wondering what to expect from this video honestly, as Incubus is a bit of a different sound from most of your chordplay videos. I was not disappointed. I've been a huge fan of Mikes guitar playing for years check out some of his other projects outside of obvious such as, end.>vacuum. And Forced Curvature of Reflective Surfaces. There's many more to but id like to hear what you think of those.
Love your channel my friend. Great content... Hey btw, not to be an ass or nothing but while learning Stellar, thanks to you also, I picked up that that C#segment is much easier to just drop my double stop down a set of strings (bar the 11th fret on A and D then finish the phrase in that position using the low E) instead of sliding down to the sixth fret. It makes it much easier. I'm not sure if that's how Mike does it but it works for me. 🙂 .. Keep kicking ass Dave. 🤘🤘🤘✌️
Mike from incubus is a severely underrated guitarists, very sweet melodic sounds like no other since hitting the scene. Love his stuff

awesome!! Incubus is one of my fave bands from the 90’s, along w/Stone Temple Pilots ... a very under-rated guitarist IMO!!
I just saw them last night, and they still crush 🤩 now I'm here. Teach me ways!

I seen them with The Why Store and Hoobastank in 02. I've seen them 12 times since. Always an amazing show. Good stuff, Dave.
