Even though I think the mother was perfect and it was stupid how they killed her off so he could end with Robin I can accept all of that. what I can't accept is how shitty season 9 was I mean so many stupid filler episodes they could have made more episodes about the mother more meaningful episodes
+Tariq Khan Ted's true love was Robin not Tracy. Tracy's true love was Max, her dead ex boyfriend. Sad but true. Ted and Robin wanted different things when they first met. Ted got the family he wanted, whereas Robin got the career she wanted. When they go back together in the future is because Ted was no longer a dreamer and Robin was no longer a workaholic. Right place, right time.

I think Ted should have done the same thing Tracy did. I mean he should have looked up to the sky and asked for Tracy's permission to move on. Having done this, he could have ran into Robin's apartmente, the way he did and we, fans, could have understood him better.
It may be six years late, but thank you for making this video clip. I grew up watching this show and loved every moment of it. Now, as an adult, I realized that I can identify with Ted's struggles. Just watching this helped me and empathize with his life.

No it really wasn't. The "mother" was some chick who clearly didn't matter at all as she was cast aside rather quickly only to go back to the same worn, boring, extremely played out story line of "oh he's just really in love with Robin all along." Easily one of the worst endings I have ever seen to a show. The choice that the "mother" really didn't matter at all and it was all about Robin ruined the entire show. I loved the show, but I've tried to watch re-runs on TV and it's just unwatchable now. All the narration is about meeting someone who's just tossed aside so we can replay Ted and Robin, sigh, yet again.
It's a cute but extremely trite cliche, but fine I get that view overall. In this case the destination ruined the journey. This was a show whose very title and all of its narration was all driving towards meeting some chick who doesn't matter and gets tossed aside in the end without a second thought.
I'm literally pity of those persons who still didn't watch this sitcom... Maybe I'm sort of biased in this.. whatever, this is always going to be the most legendaaaaary series I have ever watched in my life...❤️

Robin was the true one.He loved Tracy but he loved Robin much more.They have a history.He never stoped.Because he knew the true one is Robin.
