MEET UP POSTPONED DUE TO FIRE/FLAME BAND!!! Please try to get refunded. I spoke to the Burr Oak Park Ranger today and he said ALL (Anything) that has a flame (jet boil, lighter, stove, propane anything, anything that creates a flame/spark, etc.) is band right now due to the drought. This band he told me is in effect until we get at least five inches of rain. So with that much rain needed (which I do not see coming), I spoke to a couple other folks signed up and we all agreed, we should postpone until we get the green light, then schedule something. I like cold weather camping anyways! I am sure sorry this did not work out, but we will put something on the calendars once the band is lifted. Please confirm back you got this in the comment section. God bless and stay strong in the Lord!
Enjoyed the video with highlights of the multiple locations. I’m looking forward to the meet-up you mentioned. I live in the Central Ohio area and I really appreciate your help finding good locations to camp and unwind.
