Already at the beginning this is wrong. First you separate the flask in its two pieces you then turn the bottom piece over and FIRST place they object flat on the ground inside the flask and then you ram it with sand. ONLY THEN you turn the flask over, place the upper half and ram again with sand. You NEVER ram the sand first and then beat the object into the sand.

Do you reply on the cast iron to make the button, or waller out a dimple from the sand?
