Taking my JEEP XJ over Imogene Pass

- In this, I take my 2001 jeep Cherokee XJ over Imogene pass. This was a great trail. It wasn't a very hard trail. the shelf roads are pretty intimidating but the view from the trail makes it worth a trip across the mountain. The Tomboy mine is pretty amazing too.

I’ve watched this video several times over the last year or so, and enjoy it more each time. Hoping to have my XJ done and do this trail myself.

I shoot a lot trail videos and video doesn't do it justice. I'm sure this is much harder terrain than it looks like.

Absolutely beautiful! Great voice over Drew! I am afraid of heights...so Joe would have to drive and on some of the sketchy sections I might just have to look away. ❤️🐞
Oh yeah, put it on your list because it’s worth it for the views. I found that my hands were hurting because I was griping the steering wheel so hard in fear of driving off the edge😂

I definitely don't have a fear of heights but I think I would have pooped my pants once or twice on the way up the trail.
Haha! My hands did start hurting on the way up because I was gripping the steering wheel so hard hahaha.
I'm building my xj to drive out here from Maryland either next year or the year after. I'm also thinking of taking the auto train out to Cali and then going here and up to Alaska
That sounds like an epic trip! this trail is definitely worth the drive. California and Alaska are on my list too. I just don't know when I'll out there.

Do you have the standard 4.0 I6 renix in your XJ, or a 4.7 stroker renix? I’m saving up to buy a 4.7 stroker to put in my ‘88 XJ, just not sure where or who to buy it from. Thanks!
My jeep has a stock 4.0l. Buts not a renix engine. I guess the renix Engines were only put in 87-90 Jeeps.
