I like this guy. The way he delivers his message is very captivating. He makes you want to pay attention and listen. He is very knowledgeable, mad respect Romany!!
+Natasha Araujo You handled this misguided soul with a lot of class. Respect my sistah. I hope more young people can follow your good example. Peace and love!
Romany Malco has a RUclips channel. You can watch a lot of Romany videos on RUclips. I wish Romany Malco wouldn't have stopped doing rap music albums with College Boys.
"Nobody's looking for information, they're looking for affirmation" Soooooo many people needed that word! Gahh! lol I love this guy...so honest. He was teaching in a way that schools never will...when he was talking about being African..so real!
The man's intellect is on another level. One of the best interviews i've seen so far on the breakfast club. You can't even front,Romany got them bars. Great actor, intelligent man & great comedian. Big up yourself Romany. Big up yourself Trinidad.
I like Romany. I always enjoy his interviews.. you call tell he's extremely knowledgeable about anything he speaks of. ill definitely check out his show.
Definitely one of my favorite interviews ever. You can tell that he's really seeing the world and taking it all in. I wouldn't mind picking his brain for a minute.
One of the reasons I love watching the breakfast club, is because of interviews like this where you can have an open and honest dialog. It's refreshing! Keep the conversation going
BRO!! The dude Romany dug DEEP!! This is probably my favorite Breakfast Club Int of the year so far other than the Master P joint!! I fw the cats that drop gems & spew truth. Much love
Definitely one of the more insightful interviews they've had n 2016. The phrase he spoke,"Your pain is the pathway to your purpose" certainly hit home wit me
Amazing amazing amazing interview! As a fellow west indian american, I respect him but now also respect his mind and his choices and artistry even more. A thinking man with a purpose!
They cut him off when he was getting way real. Puerto Ricans, Dominicans, Trinidadians, Barbadians, Jamaicans, etc. have African culture embedded heavily in their cultures, from the food, to the music, to fashion, to their spiritual practices. "Black" American culture is heavily influenced by European culture, as well as practices and beliefs we developed from our times as slaves to today. That kind of talk does not fit the Breakfast Club's M.O. of gossip, bullshit, and sensationalism, so they had to cut the man short. Typical...
+CoolAss Tuck What heavy european influence do african americans have? thats the dumbest shit ive heard all night, esp when all of the groups you just named are heavily influenced by african americans
+CoolAss Tuck Dominicans don't. They are Catholic and they identify with Spanish and so called American Indians. However, Africans were the 1st people in the Americas, that's another story that people don't know. Anyway, DNA is the only real way prove lineage.
At the end of the day we came came from there. Yeah blacks in different areas have different customs we've kept but there's a reason for that and it should be used as a means to keep ourselves divided anymore.
I don't know about the Dominicans cause their racist but all the countries in the caribbean sea and certain latin countries like brazil do embrace their African roots and culture. #Facts
This actually was a solid interview. I respect Romany. People need to hear more of the truth. And the truth is what he was spittin'. I like how he just went on with regular conversation after he rapped.
This is a powerful man! When he started talking about his show, I didn't know who he was or care for his show. However, after hearing him talk, I definitely support whatever he does. Watching this interview was like reading the bible lol
It was the same for the Sway interview with Tyrese. Tracy G, Heather B had no input and Sway was acting all shook because they are used to joking around and talking sex, but not thinking about the condition of Black people in America.
This man was waaaayyy to deep and intelligent for this group of interviewers. They were too busy asking dumb ass questions ( Angela Ye and Envy) and cracking jokes during some serious topics (Charlemagne). But thank goodness there are some quality men left in this crazy world.
Holy smokes. I clicked here because i saw the shallow, funny chap from 40 Yr Old virgin. So glad to see that there's so much more to this guy! Such an urgent and progressive spirit #forward
Romany dropped some jewels. He touched on a lot of subjects that I touch on in convo frequently. I enjoy hearing other's perspectives on these topics even if there are points where I disagree. Great interview!!!
JamaalDay/NiteLong !!! Ikr... I was talking about on youtube... But you're right, I would enjoy it more live. . And i would definitely purchase a ticket. 😊😊
Christina Weekley We gotta pay our boys if we like what they about...Money is an indicator of appreciation in industry..We like em..we support em..so pay em...I'd cover your ticket👌
+JamaalDay/NiteLong !!! Bullshit. We shouldn't have to pay them to hear them talk or debate. Make it free and accessible to families in the hood who might not be able to afford it. We can support their other business ventures like restaurants, book releases, films, Umar's school idea etc. but information that the public can benefit from should be disseminated free of charge.
+Lea Leandre I totally agree, I really never paid any attention to him until now, I always thought of him as the black guy from (The 40yr old Virgin).....he's very profound!
Spoke to this brother in 2013 while on my way home from a deployment. Truly good to see he still speaks his mind and is just as real now as he was then. Mad Dogs is off the hook a must see.
This is one of the best interviews thus far because it contains information on reality of life and happiness/success. However, it will probably have the least views or no one will listen and apply it.
Great interview! Very thoughtful points! I loved the "either or" reference. If I ever was to become a parent, knowing that I lost so much of my identity wasting time k-12, I would never subject my child to that. Being 26 having achieved undergrad and graduate "success" falling for the BIG BUSINESS that is education, even though I was fully aware I wasn't learning much of anything to quantify the cost, when you realize you aren't gonna get those job offers etc because there are other qualifiers they subliminally don't tell you about, they sell you a dream and we sleep to it. We find comfort in that. I never lost my purpose, I never was cognent of one to begin. To busy paying bills, staying alive, and eating poison. But now these past few years I've become more and more aware of my reality and it's been spiritually difficult to digest it all. The irony is survival takes precedence over purpose and since we weren't afforded the opportunity to gain this early on as an adult it makes it that much more complicated trying to disengage and not be the "average American citizen" regardless to your social, economic, or financial status it's all chutzpah.... Two emotions fear 😱and love😍... 😬
Yo I'm 25 n not for nothin I'm in these streets livin a stereotypical lifestyle for my age group ( y'all know what that consist of) this interview did numbers 4 me💯 I'm also of Caribbean descent (Guyanese) so I super felt where my man was comin from💯 #GoodShit
Great man. Let it inspire you to become exceptional you are soooo young by 30 you on a whole nother level ,maybe even sooner I'm glad you enjoyed this great interview. He's far more than actor he is a voice of consciousness to his generation.
The realest interview of the year almost ruin by these clowns who always deflect the knowledge when someone start talking that truth. Got a new found respect for this brother!
Watched Tijuana Jackson on Amazon prime which brought me to this interview. Best comedy I’ve seen so far this year, in a while period! What a great escape this movie was from the sadness in the world today, couldn’t stop laughing 😂
Malco made some amazing points here at 9:30 about America's preoccupation with media & the public's inability to discriminate between mass media products and real life. at 11:30 a particularly salient point about how the push for diversity in representation or lack thereof is informed by our lived experiences. at 19:40 about the inherent handicap of network entertainment since the programming is often hampered by the need to stay clear of triggering the sensibilities of such a wide group of people. at 22:00 he reinforces his earlier point about the corrupt nature of profit-driven media. at 24:00 his theory that Trump is an instrument being utilized by CorrectionsCorporationofAmerica to further criminalize ever larger groups of people so that they might expand their slave labor force within the prisons. at 27:00 how the common conception of success does nothing but drive people into debt and leaves them ultimately unfulfilled. and much, much more....truly impressive.
Michael Scofield you a dummy lmaooo I never said anything about Anthony being gay I just said why he is still talking about another man's skin MEANING why he still has to make a joke about it.... idiot lol
When I saw this joint concluded at 45 minutes, I knew it was about to be real. This is a proud to be Black moment for me. Respect to Charlemagne, Envy, Angie and Romany for this.
This interview made me go check out MAD DOGS...OMG! that series is great, enjoyed it so much I watched all the episodes in two days...can't wait til next season if there will be one. Very entertaining, suspenseful, humorous, dramatic, tragic and at times thought provoking, all in one. Should be on prime television.
I like this guy. The way he delivers his message is very captivating. He makes you want to pay attention and listen. He is very knowledgeable, mad respect Romany!!

I actually met Romany last year. His intellect is so powerful. Very smart man.
This man was waaaayyy to deep and intelligent for this group of interviewers. They were too busy asking dumb ass questions ( Angela Ye and Envy) and cracking jokes during some serious topics (Charlemagne). But thank goodness there are some quality men left in this crazy world.

Romany never fails to impress, nice to hear about his project, but tuned in just to hear his perspective.
Best interview I've seen on TBC. Malco is a stand up guy who uses common sense to navigate the narrative in a most effective manner.

He came with them BARS!! This dude enlightened too
what a truly (inside and out) beautiful man
He was amazing. He was too heavy for this outlet. They were making so light while he was trying drop some knowledge.
Great interview! Very thoughtful points! I loved the "either or" reference. If I ever was to become a parent, knowing that I lost so much of my identity wasting time k-12, I would never subject my child to that.

Best interview of 2016 so far👌🏾💯
Malco made some amazing points here
at 9:30 about America's preoccupation with media & the public's inability to discriminate between mass media products and real life.
at 11:30 a particularly salient point about how the push for diversity in representation or lack thereof is informed by our lived experiences.
at 19:40 about the inherent handicap of network entertainment since the programming is often hampered by the need to stay clear of triggering the sensibilities of such a wide group of people.
at 22:00 he reinforces his earlier point about the corrupt nature of profit-driven media.
at 24:00 his theory that Trump is an instrument being utilized by CorrectionsCorporationofAmerica to further criminalize ever larger groups of people so that they might expand their slave labor force within the prisons.
at 27:00 how the common conception of success does nothing but drive people into debt and leaves them ultimately unfulfilled.
and much, much more....truly impressive.
one of the best interviews.
Charlamanges skin has now reached its peak form
you are really still talking about another man's skin? smh
Michael Scofield you a dummy lmaooo I never said anything about Anthony being gay I just said why he is still talking about another man's skin MEANING why he still has to make a joke about it.... idiot lol
+Anthony Deldeo Aaaaahahahahahahaha
You should be a comedian bro lol
And it makes him look sickly.
