I think that Spiderman and Venom statue is incredible, love seeing different and ambitious things in the statue world.

that spidey/venom piece is one of the coolest things I've seen in a while, very unique and original. I would worry about the structure and strength of it but it definitely looks cool.

Interesting take on the new Spider-Man Venom statue. I hear what you are saying about the Venom symbol on spider man though. That would probably bring them both together/help the flow. But I love this piece
I like the Spidey statue but it does seem off with the all black on Spidey, and the symbiote proportions just seem wrong like there should be less black on Spidey.

I initially thought that the symbiote Spider-Man transformation looked ehh but idk if I like wiped my glasses or something but I really do like it. I do agree on the lack of the symbiote suit logo on the stomach and chest area. I’ve also been wanting an ultimate venom from the ultimate universe with the purple and different eyes to be made for so long so I hope they do like a variant or something for this.
I was in XM store in Singapore last week and saw that Spider-Man statue in person and absolutely had to buy it!
I ordered it lucky enough from sugo toys straight away. Pre seeing it in person I wasn’t interested. I’m person is mind blowing for a statue

Can't believe you're not seeing the concept that the Venom suit *EXPANDS* , it expands to fit the wearer, and especially when it's being attacked by sound. That invisible scene, that invisible action is being very accurately portrayed in the entire statue itself. So it has Two Separate dynamic elements going on, Spider-Man is ripping the suit, and it's been attacked by sound 🤯😵🤯😯

The SpiderMan/Venom looks too much like Venom is choosing to leave Spider Man as opposed to Spidey trying to rip him off...they should have went with Spide in the Clark Kent Pose with both hands ripping at his chest trying to pull it off..

The seams on Nova base remind me of the crazy ugly seams on Sideshow Nightcrawler, except Nightcrawler was much worse.

I feel partly responsible for the Venomous statues, because when XM released the Venom statue, I sent XM a dm saying that it lacked the creativity they're known for, and they are being upstaged by the unlicensed companies that are producing high quality Venoms. And now, this.
I like the Jane statue but I feel it’s missing something. I also love the idea of the Symbiote statue but it also just feels like it’s missing the mark.
The best statues in my opinion are the DC samurai line I’m liking how they look
I'm digging that Spider-Man transformation statue. I agree with the chest emblem, but I like how he's fighting the symbiote. A little upset about Mr Sinister. Excited we're finally getting one, but not a fan of this one.
The Galvatron is really good except for the metallic silver parts. To me those parts should be royal pearly white like he originally looks also the feet should have the large black toe tips. Nova looks good as well.
I’m not a fan of the XM pricing currently. The prices they’ve recently shown have jumped to 1/3rd prices. I think XM is taking advantage of collectors and testing the market if they can get away with these price increases.
Yeah, it's why XM is in the "look but don't touch" category for me. They're nice, but not "2x-4x the price of a Sideshow/Tweeterhead statue" nice...

Not gonna lie I LOVE the Spidey/ Venom statue! If I hadn't of preorder loads of MP Transformers I'd definitely pull the trigger on it! They've not quite done Nova justice though, big fan of the character but agree on the weird pose would of loved to of seen the pose from his first appearance in the comics!
AGREED, Vemom is missing the white squares on the back of his hands and the Spidey symbol should be on their back and front of costume--XM Fix it and then its going on the list. AGREED They should show a little more Spidey suit, since he did actually successfully separate from the symbiote.

Gem gotta be on sideshows payroll. He reviews mediocre sideshow statues and only talks good but yet on some of these XM he talks bad. Something ain’t adding up
I agree with you--the Venom-Spider-Man statue is just "ok" to me. Like you, I feel I'm supposed to love it. It definitely is nice but it's just that. Great accomplishment; it's eye catching. But don't quite love it. 😐
overall, not that thrilled. I think they would've benefitted from doing a current riddler, the samurai line translates well to the bat armor but not necessarily to the villains. Freeze would've been a better option IMO. Hulk venomized looks pretty killer, I think the spidey one will look even better in person. I want to see XM get some wins but I'm overall not digging these. It would be a curveball, but if they got a deal with Call of Duty/Rainbow six, they would absolutely crush that, but I don't know that there's a huge market for FPS statues.
I like the Spidey/Vemon statue, but it looks too delicate.

The Symbiote Spider-Man was my most anticipated statue and XM let me down… I don’t like the lenses on Spider-Man and the statue is a bit weird. I’ll wait for another symbiote Spider-Man statue, I’ll skip this one.

Great statues but as allways only Marvel & DC stuff, XM don't care about other licenses or collectors, is a Shame, where's new Star Wars pieces?
Okay, now I'm concerned, because I've heard you give praise to things you didn't necessarily like but appreciated the creativity of in the past. And now, you didn't say one good thing about that Spider-Man symbiote. I think we're missing the key component of what this statue represents in the statue game right now. In a land of Venoms, and Venomized statues ( including a Venomized Batman- no idea how that happened, the multiverse transcends franchises now?), we finally get a statue depicting the most important moment in Venom's history, and the history of the symbiote narrative. This is brilliant, because up until now, we just had Spider-Man in the black suit. And we had Venoms. And we had the Venomized. But nothing depicting this crucial moment. Notice the bell on the side, it gets struck and bam- the symbiote reacts. This statue is greater than the sum of its parts. Look at the narrative being depicted: there's a clear beginning, middle and end. Matter of fact, if you put the Spider-Man symbiote next to the Hulk statue, that would tell am interesting story as well. Bell hits, symbiote responds, Spider-Man fights it off, Hulk gets possessed. Bam!
Kudos on them for breaking the mold and trying some wild designs.

Most of their stuff looks good but nothing special and wildly overpriced.
As always we have the same opinions. Big miss on the spider man/venom. Not a fan, and venom is my favorite character.

That Jane Foster Thor piece looks great. The ice on the base with the large weapon and shield, is supposed to be reminiscent of the place where the Ice giants live but that's very vague. It could pair well with the Thor statue from Sideshow where the base is the face of an Ice giant.
Nova looks ok but not amazing. Not liking the energy ball dunking pose. I can see why that spiderman with separating symbiote is the big craze. Conceptually it does seem like an amazing sculpt to have if they could pull it off. Unfortunately I don't think they managed to get it right. If the symbiote is getting away from Spiderman because of the piercing sound of the bell. It would only make sense that both of the symbiote's hands would be covering the ear area of his head with both hands. He should look like he is Screaming in agony while There's more Symbiote separation and less on Spiderman. Oh well maybe next time. It's a hit or miss with some of those pieces and it's up to the people as to whether they are going to invest in these sculpts or wait for something else later on.
My guy…music is so loud! Love the channel, really do, but that monotonous tone in the background takes away from your usual class coverage. No disrespect meant sir, as a long time fan just offering my measly opinion.
