The Naaz Theatre - How Little India Began

In 1972 Gian Naz opened the Naaz Theatre on Gerrard St East with a mission to bring Bollywood films to Toronto. The Naaz became a magnet for the sudden influx of Indian and other South Asian immigrants who set up their shops nearby the Theatre and prospered.
