Hi how are you? :) Good news! I’ll finally be doing fencing again this week! 😃 It’s been two years! XD It’s dear but hopefully it’ll all be totally worth it! ;)
@@HowtoFencingbyYarikandTim It went well thanks! ;) My skills and are are rusty and actually yes! The blade’s metal is literally a bit rusty too. It’s only early days! I can wait! ;) I hurt my leg pulling a tendon or two in the back of my thigh. They spend ages on warming up, footwork and blade work and stuff. I’m cool with that! ;) Then free fighting isn’t until near the end. I’m still cool with it. Just time for like, three or four fights first to five. I need to hurry cuz I don’t want to miss my trains home. The new club I go to is in Newcastle and I’m from Sunderland. I need two metro trains to get there. I went there before when I entered the épée novice competition seven years ago this year. I got a bronze medal. The people there are nice it’s just me! All nervous and homesick not knowing the people there and missing everyone I used to know.
If they dont move back then just look to penetrate/attack Otherwise carefully place them on two meter line until they attack or you squeeze them in for a hit
@@xincheli6422 If they're hitting you consistently via counter attack then it means you're coming in when they're prepared. Try putting enough pressure but be patient until they fall forward and then you attack...don't attack without their commitment, you must figure out how to dictate to your opponent.
your lesson is gorgeous, thank you so much!!

I have a duel Tomorrow. Wish me luck
Good luck 🤞🍀
So how should we deal with the type of fencers like Loit, who don't attack at all?

@@HowtoFencingbyYarikandTim Thank you!
@@HowtoFencingbyYarikandTim However, when I try to attack some french grip fencers like this, they remise and counter attack me on the shoulder.
