The last time someone tried to do so without their label's permission, the label tried to effectively wipe away every trace of her online and cut all ties with her. Her name's Maman, if you haven't heard of her. Idols are already in such insane slave-like contracts and treated so inhumanely that I don't think any of them would dare to break their contract and do something like that. The most we've gotten are quotes along the lines of "I think love is love, no matter who you are." and such things, which is still a step in the right direction but it'll never outright happen for as long as it's unprofitable to be openly supportive of LGBTQ+. And when it *does* become profitable to be supportive, it's already too late because we would've had to see the acceptance come from elsewhere to get to that point in the first place.
If you'd like to support lgbtq+ (friendly) idols, I'd recommend these: Q.IX (a group full of nonbinary people), Holland (probably a very obvious choice), Jiae (bisexual), Mamamoo (supportive of the "rainbow moos" organisation which was founded by lgbtq+ fans in order to support the Seoul pride parade, one of them has a MV with a sapphic story line, one of them has a sapphic song & more but those weren't as obvious). There are probably more but those are all I could think of for now who have stated more than "just" "love is love". :)

So the spitting on people. Disgusting! Sundai Love said this happened to her her first day there about 8 to 10 years ago. I was thinking there are more foreigners now and hopefully people aren’t doing that anymore. But I see it’s still happening. If me or my daughter are spit on it would definitely be a problem. Especially if it happened to my daughter. So we still talk about going but no time soon.
It’s extremely extremely rare for this to happen and you also can’t take everything everyone says seriously. People lie all the time for internet clout. And there’s a ton of anti-Asian hate worldwide
How i feel with the lgbtq as a Muslim is i respect you as a human but i don't support the lgbtq or you're believes that a woman with a woman or man with a man is okay
then you don’t respect people as a human because part of some people’s humanity is that they are gay. everything that makes me who i am is affected by me being gay, every experience, every act of compassion stems from the fact that i am gay, because that’s how i exist in the world. consider that when you say you don’t respect people’s gayness.
That's very prejudiced in a way. Supporting LGBTQ is saying they deserved equal protections and rights as straight folks do under the law. Religious folks as I talk to them have to make it clear to somehow have disapproval like they have some authority. Like either you are for equal rights and representation or not. You are saying equal rights as a human is so vague, like yeah that's the bare minimum. All human beings deserve it, applause I guess, but still not the question being asked
The Bible originally never condemned homosexuality. The current Christian condemnation of homosexuality is a mistranslation of several verses that originally only referred to pedophilia, slavery, and adultery.
If thats the value of the country, the lgbt community should learn to respect it rather than hoping/forcing for the whole country to change for them...the lgbt community really trying to change Korea to America
There LGBT+ people in Korea that are native Koreans. This video is just about experiences of foreigners in the country. Just because some of the older people still are still close minded doesn’t mean the younger generation should suffer. In life we must progress and move forward. Leaving the discrimination in the past.
@worshipsonglyrics5861that's impossible. There is no ideology of homosexuality. That made 0 sense. That's like saying there is an ideology of autism or dyslexia. Their must besides all of them share wanting equality, respect, and understanding.
they said just the truth do whatevere u want but not in front of me and in normal community and don't teach it to my children and inside schools let your shit stays with u
Straight is not the "normal", lmfao. Also, nobody is forcing their sexuality onto you or onto kids. It's always straight people forcing your sexuality onto us and onto children. LGBTQ people never tell children that they should be gay, but straight people always tell children that if they are not straight that they will burn in hell.
I’m glad foreigners acknowledge that their experience in Korea might be different to Koreans. So I’m really looking forward to the next video!!

I didn’t assume it was the same sort of bigotry that one would experience in the more conservative parts of the US (like where I am now). I assumed it was less openly aggressive outrage and more subtle. Also, it definitely makes sense there is a bit more acceptance of foreigners as we are already different.
Really looking forward to the interview with LGBT+ Koreans as it will be so interesting to see how their experience compares.
Truly hate to hear the adorable butterfly girl was spit on just for being a foreigner. 😢
Stop saying plus, it's LGB
@@derekb4977 I disagree. The T and + are essential I think. The queer community are just that, a *community*. I don’t agree with the notion of excluding anybody included in the initialism.
@@countrysidekookie2238 no they are not essential at all it's all ridiculous a majority of it was made up on tumblr facts, if you don't believe me go look it up there's plenty of proof I can give you, from LGB Alliance Detrans interviews and the truth about everything.

I hope not-
I don’t care what you are, what you identify as, but leave the children alone.

Exactly! That's what I've been saying to Christians for years! I don't care if they follow the Bible, but leave the children alone.

Wow
How i feel with the lgbtq as a Muslim is i respect you as a human but i don't support the lgbtq or you're believes that a woman with a woman or man with a man is okay
@worshipsonglyrics5861 yess!
then you don’t respect people as a human because part of some people’s humanity is that they are gay. everything that makes me who i am is affected by me being gay, every experience, every act of compassion stems from the fact that i am gay, because that’s how i exist in the world. consider that when you say you don’t respect people’s gayness.
@worshipsonglyrics5861then you would support their rights and equality
I respect you as a human, but I dont respect your religion then.
its mostly foreigners
No offence, a lot of homosexuals have the same voice. Is it just me who notices this?

Your discriminating against their thoughts of not wanting to not accept it. That's discrimination.
@worshipsonglyrics5861that's impossible. There is no ideology of homosexuality. That made 0 sense. That's like saying there is an ideology of autism or dyslexia. Their must besides all of them share wanting equality, respect, and understanding.
