Couldnt help but notice 60 bucks cash on the table when he brought the shirts over. As a former restaurant worker, its super classy that you tip so well despite getting the meal for free. Always figured you were a class dude!

I saw 60$ on the table for a piece of pie. I know it’s Vegas but that lets me know you’re a good man when it comes to taking care of staff. As a member of the service industry for years on years, I can’t tell you how much I appreciate people like you.
You do realize he's not the average person right? Might as well start bending over backwards the moment upper class people decide to throw pocket change at you and condemn the lower class because your employer refuses to pay you.
Burdening the customer with paying your employees should not be encouraged. So while he is trying to be nice, he is hurting service workers by perpetuating the problem.

@@hb1338 If an employer is relying on their patrons to directly fund their employees' personal food bills, then that business has failed. In any case, I do not understand how it could possibly be the customer's fault if the employees starved to death.
It's pretty simple: pay your employees enough to live on or, admit that your "success" is the result of poverty wages or requiring your customers to subsidize your expenses.

So nice of Beard to leave $60 even though the food was free. I've always wondered if he just takes the free meal and bounces. Awesome to see he still takes care of the servers etc.

I'd like to know what his logic is for how much he leaves. As priced, the meal was $75 and the dessert was $11 for a total of $86. This means he left a nearly 70% tip. Is this his normal methodology or does it vary based on the reward? For example, does he tip less at a place that only gives the meal for free without swag? Did he tip a lot here because they gave him extra? I don't necessarily expect him to share specifics, but I would be curious to learn about his general tipping practices as a professional.
@@piercemathena2125 The chef, service and seating do have to get sort of out of the way for him to do his thing, I would imagine he just throws in an extra 20 for the service and chef each or something.

when you eat, imagine a dial of hunger that turns down as you do. as he plows through savoury and fats, those dials turn down, but the area of the brain that wants sweet things stays at max. that's why people always have room for dessert

No, that is he getting refunded the $75 the challenge cost.
@@SilfverrI think it is a tip, cause the bartender who brings the shirts does so when the cash is already on the table, its definitely $60 so if it was a refund that would make no sense, and it would make sense that Beard would try to use the $’s he got for the trip regardless of whether its to pay for the challenges if he loses or not. Plus we all know Beard is a fine chap.

What a great place. The food looked really good. They were all left speechless. The look on the barmans face when he said he'd been there for years and he had only seen one other person finish. Genuine admiration in his tone. That was quite a large amount of food and Beard smashed it under 20 minutes. That's insane.

They have the best fried chicken donut sandwich!! I only eat it once a year on my birthday😋 😂 I love the Tetris tots and their encouragement to play with your food LOL! The size of the ice cream pie is ridiculously huge and the fruity pebbles French toast is to die for. So much good food on the menu I definitely recommend this be a stop for anyone visiting Vegas!
