I would like to see Ara Parseghian era Unis. The very dark blue jerseys and true gold color pants. In my mind's eye that's what I remember watching the 1973 game, I was 11.

I’ve been an Irish fan my entire life and am a huge supporter of the preservation of traditional unis for ND. However, when Weis came out with the hunter green and gold for USC I was a fan…overall I have enjoyed the one off Shamrock Series unis…and I LOVE the new helmets.
All of that to say, I am intrigued by black jerseys as long as they mix in some blue and/or green so it’s not just black & gold to look like Purdue/Colorado/etc…we are ND so let’s be sure we look like ND and nobody else

Alabama had the best response to black jerseys, when Georgia wore black for the Bama game the Bama strength guy said *Yeh, you are suppose to wear black to a funeral*. Bama was up 31-0 at halftime.🤣🤣

The old helmets are tan. They do not look good.
As long as they don’t mess with the helmet, I don’t have any problem with changing the jerseys. Recruits think our home jerseys are kind of boring. They don’t think the helmet is boring, but the jersey is just a blue shirt. I don’t understand why old school Notre Dame fans get so butt hurt about this stuff. You have to keep up with changing times. I’m all for tradition. That’s why you don’t change the helmet. That gold helmet is our identity.
