I can't get enough of listening to Coach Cig as he represents such a great amalgamation of all the great mentors and coaches I've ever had in my long life, in sport or in my professional career. As he's said often, "all I've wanted to be was a coach, since 3rd grade." He's so prepared for this moment and in his process applied to IUFB has taken away 60 yrs of dread that always accompanied being a fan. Win or lose, we still win because the process was right, so clear, comprehensive and pure in its effort and application! Thank you.
As an 85 yo lifelong Hoosier fan and alumni I have experienced the TRIFECTA, see IU play Michigan, humble Michigan and now in the mix for the national championship. It IS a beautiful thing! Mikey
As an IU alum my season was made seeing IU beat Michigan, Michigan State, and Purdue. Especially Michigan. To beat ND would be the cherry on top! 🍨 LET'S GO IU!
OSU fan. People seem to think IU is overrated because they couldn’t compete physically with us. Quite frankly that’s just wrong. OSU had a punt return TD and IU had a critical dropped snap by the punter. The game was over before it started because of flukey special teams plays. It had nothing to do with IU not being able to match up.
Glad to see someone understand that. It was basically a 17-14 game offense vs. defense if you take away the special teams and last minute meaningless score. But to OSU's credit, they have a bunch of talent on special teams.
This guy is a really really good coach. IU is going to be good for awhile with him. Tough to recruit among a crowded field but he's a tactician, develops players and can motivate. He's got me nervous. Go Irish! ☘️
I don't think people are giving IU enough of a chance in this game. This is a serious program, and I expect them to show up ready to play hard. I truly hope they knock of Notre Dame. We need to see the B1G *strong* in the CFP this year!
Love my IU basketball!! IU is my second favorite team in college football, but I have lived 30 minutes from ND stadium my whole life, and I was an Irish fan before I could walk. Go ND ☘️ Bring the pain!!
I grew up in South Bend IN about 15 minutes from the ND campus. I graduated from IU Bloomington. As a kid I rooted for ND during football season and IU during basketball season. I'm all in for IU. LET'S GO IU!!
either way an Indiana team makes it to the second round of the CFP. I hope the Hoosiers win(lived in bloomington my whole life) but I really just want it to be a good game!
Im glad Cignetti acknowledges that ND is a really good football team - because we are. Congratulations to IU on a great year. Reminds me of 1990's Bill McCartney at Colorado. ND will win convincingly 34-20
Thank you for an amazing season thus far, Coach! Can’t wait for it to continue!! Let’s GO HOOSIERS!!🏈🔴⚪️🏈🔴⚪️
Cig is the best
So happy and proud he is our coach
Good luck from ND fans. Been a great year for IU. Looking forward to the matchup!
