2000 Tahoe LT, Just replaced both of mine, no need to remove the door panel. Only need the triangle removed. Here to save someone the extra time!
How did you undo the wiring harness without taking the door panel off?
Exactly what I needed after the mirror mechanism on the Tahoe died. The video is excellently shot with necessary details. I didn't take off the entire panel. I just removed the plug for the mirror.
+Ramon Z. Thanks for watching our video! 1aau.to/m/Shop-TRQ
How did you remove the plug for the mirror without removing the panel?? I dont want to take off entire panel. Please tell. Thanks
@@brentcullipher6061 I think it depends on what year Tahoe you have. I have a 2000 and I don’t have to take off the door panel. I also don’t have any screws holding my door panel on.
I installed these mirrors on my 2005 Silverado. Originally it didn’t come with the button to fold them. Turn signals and puddle light work. Will the power folding work by just switching the buttons for the power folding?
Will these mirrors work with the power fold feature that mine has? (2006 Z-71)
Thanks! Now I don’t have to wait for the hubby to get home, I can just do it myself.
The mirror I purchased wasn’t correct - it only had one wire and the wire was super short. I called the company and will be going back up there today. I am curious if there’s a way to make this short cord longer and just use it without the full functions the other cord would give.
Where did you get the new mirror? Update: Found a link in your video description! Thanks! (I’m in phone view and didn’t see the description at first.)
Worked like a charm, thank you very much!!
Quick question. Is there an additional process if the side view mirror has a puddle light?
Its a whole different process
I would think it would be the same
@@ericklopez6 why?
there is also a screw on the UNDER SIDE of the door you have to remove. He didnt show that.
Good job you are the best.
The door panel has to come off and when you get the replacement buy the same one in the video I bought the wrong one lol.
