What I’ve learned about TV actors and movie actors is fans react to them differently. When a TV character is in your home every week or everyday u feel u know them it’s more intimate. However, when it’s a movie actor it’s on a big screen so their image is much bigger. We tend to be in awe of movie actors and talk to TV actors like they’re our friends and neighbors. The fact that someone just asks “can u say your catchphrase” like he’s a wind up toy, proves my point.
As depressing as this interview already is, it actually gets worse. It took place only a few weeks after Dana Plato died and they brought her son on and had Gary try and cheer him up.
