- The world of magic crafters is under siege again, this time it's not a question of scrambled druids, but of a mad wizard who pretends to be the most powerful wizard of all time, Merlin, and in fact has all the credentials, as he lives in a huge crystal palace surrounded by a flower meadow, so he seems very peaceful, but as soon as you make him angry he will be able to transform the objects of the palace into enemies to defeat, to demolish his own palace and make the debris float against it you, and even to change the climate. Keep control and concentration and you will see that he will get so angry that he can no longer handle his magic and he will self-destruct ;) The origin of all this power? It seems that the scepter in his possession was stolen from a distant and ancient kingdom of dragons.

Considering that Merlin is a wizard, I can imagine him on top of a platform levitating by his magic, and Spyro has to use his platforming and parkour skills to get up to Merlin and hit him.
his is exactly what I discussed with a subscriber yesterday, I thought the same thing :)
That ambient part makes it sound like that things gets levitating (a lot of parkourin)🪄.
I once watched serie named Merlin with my best friend. It was funny. Merlin was young in that serie.
This merlin might be young too, since he's fake lol

I'm probably the only one who will find this funny, but I'm at work right now, using a program called "Merlin", so I thought it was really funny when I got the notification for this song 😅 nice one btw! I can totally see it on a flight level or some level like Wizard Peak ☺

I can easily see Spyro getting a new book of magic breath from this, like something from Spyro Dawn of the Dragon. Also this definitely feels like its backdrop. Night skies, but it also feels like flight shooting fireballs at enemies running around on the surface during the siege. Also destroying actual mechanics like catapults by hitting it in the right place.
Thanks for the comment Bro..The idea of hitting the enemies and the boss with the catapults is wonderful... so you aim like with cannons!

I imagine Merlin on a way tall platform, several feet in the air and making treasure chests and things float, and in order to reach him to defeat him, you must use your plat forming skills to jump and glide across the objects in order to reach him 😃
I swear I thought the same thing :D obviously this platform is floating and moves away at its will, if it didn't self-destruct for Spyro it would have been very difficult to reach it

It's an even more remote realm in my opinion :) it makes sense though
Not dark enough for a boss theme if you ask me. Even Dr. Shemp is quite frenetic even though it's upbeat.
In the description I said that initially it is a peaceful place.

I didn’t even know Jacques (or any of the bosses in Spyro 1 for that matter) were bosses for years.
@@DoofenSpyroDragon16 the Jaques theme is literally the most dissonant and tonally ambiguous of all the boss themes and is creepy as heck.
Really? I thought the opposite and there’s hardly any dissonance. Curiously how do you see it as dissonant? All I hear is the uplifting melody and the triumphant Spyro 1 tune; that’s what made it so magic for me as a kid. As I wandered round in circles looking at the lava, and it fit so perfect cuz the lava was the same color as the music’s key for me 😄
