Its not until I'm reminded of those stupid flip'n noise bags that I realize how much I love Rabbids. They are somehow a staple creature in my childhood! ✌❤🐀
It's hilarious watching the younger Millennials start to realize that they're not kids any longer. I mean I'm barely a Millennial (one year older and I'd be GenX), and I still remember playing NES as a kid. The Wii came out when I was in my mid-20s. The PS2 also came out after I'd become an adult. I'm quite used to this sort of thing.
The change from star ratings -> like/dislike -> likes/dislikes *but dislikes are hidden* paints a real picture of how social media has changed over the years. They don't want your opinion, they want your "engagement."

My childhood was formed around the raving rabbids games and like no one I know knows what they are :( its so sad. My Wii phase as a kid was my happiest I've been
Dan, as someone who recently turned 40, I've noticed that these cultural separations become more common, but I stop caring about them. They're just something that exists instead of a reason for an existential crisis. I mean, I remember when there were two Germanies and people couldn't just say "the US" because it could have meant USA or USSR. Also, in 2006, I got my master's degree, so... yeah, you being a kid is about the same feeling as the kids in your stream saying "I was born in 2006". Just another thing.
I don't think these seperations are becoming more common I just think that over time you start to really notice them more and more epsecially nowadays that everybody is so connected. Like back in the day I'd always find adults who said "back then everything was better" pretty stupid but nowadays I'm literally thinking the exact same thing lol
@Kein Herz アニ Always depends on the people aswell. I'm 20 and have friends ranging from 14 to 34 and for the most part were pretty much the same or similiar enough when it comes to this sort of stuff

the carnival one and cosmic family were both games i played a lot as a kid alongside wii sports, though it was pretty confusing since i couldn't understand english yet. i don't remember if they had translations, but i do know that there were a lot of confusing parts in cosmic family, and i think i was afraid that the carnival game where you drag the loop around the wire would actually electrocute me if i hit the sides
well this brought back memories of actual good games. it's infuriating cus I have no idea what the names are, all I have is the memory and the ache to see them again
currently i am 16 years old, born in 2006
i've never seen any of these games before and had mostly no idea what he was talking about up until the rabbids game
is this how it feels to have a game you used to love growing up labeled old
The fact my own mother was trying to have me explain the let me do it for you meme makes RT feel infinitely more old
God, we’re so old. I didn’t ever play a Rabbids game, but I remember they were everywhere, so when Dan started streaming a Rabbids game I kinda felt like I had actually bought one some Friday afternoon after school in 2007-2009 and then went home after buying a pizza with my mom after the sunset and then play the game before going to sleep.
Dan claiming to be old, but not recognizing Disco or knowing what a printed TV guide was just made me feel even older.
The change from star ratings -> like/dislike -> likes/dislikes *but dislikes are hidden* paints a real picture of how social media has changed over the years. They don't want your opinion, they want your "engagement."
I saw Wii Carnival and the memories just unlocked
I am 20 years old... That carnival game was my favourite to play with my sister for ages when I was little... I didn't even remember it until he showed the case and then the amount of nostalgia I felt.
i was born only a few years before the wii came out, and i honestly cannot comprehend how old the wii is. i still play super paper mario all the time, its a comfort object at this point, the fact its 17 years old is insane to me.
omg, seeing cosmic family gave me nostalgia I didn't know i had. that game was such a huge part of my childhood, I loved it so so so much
Oh man…don’t make me feel old! I’m sad that the Wii Motion game didn’t work, it was a lot of fun! I hope you can find a working copy some time, lol.
When I saw you posted this video, I was immediately reminded of Boom Blox and its sequel, games that I had a lot of fun with as a kid. I know you didn't include it, but this was such a fun idea; kinda makes me wanna pull out my Wii U lol
This videos gonna hit hard since I just donated my Wii console and games while clearing out the house in preparation to move out for college. Thanks RT!
12:07 This made me laugh so hard the timing was just perfect 😂😂
“Wii Games are Incredibly Old Now, just like you”
That’s the title I wanna read on my birthday, thanks Mr Game
Wii sport and Mario kart were lit. Omfg i remember that carnival game
The worst part about this entire video, ignoring the existential crisis of getting older, is that I remember that exact carnival game from when I was younger and that those character models now show up in my dreams
I can finally make my mother proud with that guiness world records game
And I just got to the "Default age: 41" part and... yeah, that's my age... *sigh* I'm old.
Man the carnival game really takes me back, I loved that game as a kid
Me and my sibling spent HOURS playing the carnival game when we were younger 😂 10/10 would recommend
Ah, that Guinness World Records game reminded me of Raving Rabbids but bad, and then Dan just up and played some actual Raving Rabbids. They should get a set of 4 Wii Controllers and play Raving Rabbids 2 on Jingle Jam or something.
Please, guys... don't call him old for enjoying long documentaries. I swear I was only in my mid 20s recently.
This made me feel so old. I used to play sports resort for hours on end (lived for the plane minigame), and I remember having that carnival game but never playing it lol. Best one was super paper mario though, too bad my disc scratched :(
Coming from a guy who never owned a wii, this is very nostalgic for me...
god i remember the carnival game back when i was a kid, ah memories
god im getting old
What’s a wii?
"I paid 15 tickets for a machine to go 'eh, you're below average."
I mean, to be fair, if you pay 15 tickets to a machine for validation, you're kinda below average anyways.
I had this video on in the background til heard Ravin’ Rabbids TV Party - that game was so much of my childhood (born in 2001 here, to add context for the whole ‘feeling old’ chat). I would play it so so much, the nostalgia I have seeing it right now is insane.
I had both the carnival and beach games when I was a kid and I loved them as a kid. Seeing them again at 24 makes me wonder what was wrong with me.
My brother has been collecting older games and game systems since the nostalgia for them hasn’t hiked the prices just yet. It’s been really fun revisiting some of them.
1:02 i think i remember owning this game as a child
I remember renting out the Guinnes World Records game ever so often with pocket money from Blockbusters. Oh god I'm getting old...
BROOOOO Raving Rabbids TV Party was my entire childhood. I remember playing its rhythm game and they had a bunch of killer 90s songs (like Toxic, which Dan played). The game was out of pocket on purpose and it was so good
I loved Wii Play Motion!! I played it a lot in my childhood. The umbrella game and stone skipping was my favorite. All the games were so unique and its so underrated!!
The carnival game I played a ton as a kid so this video has given me SO much nostalgia!
Omfg I fucking LOVED that carnival game when I was a kid. Holy shit the nostalgia I am experiencing right now man.
