As a french people im so glad a coaster this good is in my home country. Got some nighrides on, incredible Toutatis is my top 1 coaster today
Man can't believe our trips missed each other by like a week or so. Toutatis was so epic! Absolutely loved the ride. It's my #1 Intamin. Plus Oziris was awesome! That became my new #1 B&M invert

Oziris experience is dependent on the train
When it is colder they put the trains with different wheels
So oziris is better in spring or autumn than in summer
Yes Goudurix is the worst, and hearing you experience it was hilarious. I stopped riding it in 2012 and will never go back if they don't change anything on it. At least it is a really good ride to look at, when you go on the "promenade" you can see the head of the riders bouncing everywhere.
And Toutatis is an absolute blast

The goats under the track reminds me of riding Montu back in the day when they had real gators in a pit as you left the station under your feet. Over the top theming. Lol

Plus! I LOVED how you just ignored those 'Non Screamer jerks' who kept giving you ugly faces......they really looked not that friendly. lol. Thx for the awesome coverage!

Actually that are meanwhiile the standard Intamin seats for some years and also Mack seats are very similar (I think they even came first). When I rode "Blue Fire" in Europa Park for the first time some years ago I was shocked first. It was a very weird feeling to ride a coaster with inversions that gives you hang time (so that you would just drop down without restraints), but with only a lap bar and no shoulder lockdowns.
I just thought it was insane that they made them ride with their backpacks :O Je ne sais pas? Agreed, those guys in front of them looked mean. In Paris people are alright, but in Strasbourg the French people are even more mean speaking from experience. The bus driver kinda rolled his eyes at me when I tried to speak French to him for directions. But yes, I was kidding Marc kun good effort lol Vol d'Icare pronounciation c'est magnifique :)
Those people were just sick of hearing their obnoxious language and yelling for NO reason.
I am extremely happy and proud to say that this is the closest theme park to my house (about 40 minutes away)

I love this park but I feel like its a two day to really thoroughly enjoy with all the themed lands insane coasters and flat/water rides
Toutatis looks incredible. Definitely, appears to be my type of coaster. I've been very curious about Oziris since I love B&M inverts, and it has a reputation for being one of or even the best of them. I was impressed that you mentioned that you think Afterburn is better than Oziris ( since I'm regularly going on about how much I love Afterburn -- one of my most ridden coasters and still one of my all-time favorites -- and I flip-flop back and forth with it and Banshee being my favorite B&M invert). Goudurix does appear to be a big steel bowel movement. I love how you just easily sum it up by saying what a piece of shit it is.
I guess I'm one of the few people that actually likes Goudurix (it is rougher than the Chinese vekoma knockoff I rode when I was a kid in my hometown). Every coaster in the park is so smooth except for this one, and somehow I want to experience the roughness everytime I go to this park
The first time I rode it I had a backpack and also had my glasses on, I had to hold my backpack with one hand and push my glasses with the other the entire ride, definitely the craziest experience I had with coasters

Disneyland Paris actually makes you ride with your bags as well iirc, or at least it used to. I remember having my bags at my feet in hyperspace mountain and rock 'n rollercoaster
Without watching the Video: Toutatis is a kickass ride and goes hard in the second Half where it is paced soooo well except for maybe the wallstall.
Everything before that is not as insane but very fun instead. It is such a round coaster and my #1 Steel coaster that is not Spinning ;)

Goudurix is a back row ride, it's unusual, but it's smoother in the back this is were i appreciate it more

Can you believe that Tonnere de Zeus was actually more aggressive and better then before the Gravity Group treatment? Because sadly it is...
I can believe that. Those PTC trains can ride that way and I love it.
@@CoasterDash Yeah the airtime was more insane and it rode quite smoother with the PTC trains. Somehow the Timberliners are not making this ride better. That is also why The Voyage still has PTC trains from what I've heard.
Well in the last 5 or 6 years the ride was only vibrating and ruined all the speed and forces, but in his early days it was amazing
Tonnerre 2 Zeus is probably one of the most polarizing coaters out there, it might have been the roughest wooden coaster I have ever ridden. Maybe it's bot nearly as bad in the back row but I had 2 rides and each time I just wanted it to end.
It's amazing just how mixed the reactions to Zeus have been, some hate it and some think it's the best ride in the park, even with Toutatis open. I think it's the most polarizing ride in Europe at the moment.
I've ridden it a few days ago and its very rough, but still a good ride. But I have to say its too rough for me to be one of the best European woodies

Love parc astrix! Unfortunately the one ride I got on Tonerre 2 Zeuss was arguably the roughest ride ive ever gotten on any coaster. I was on a wheel seat in the middle. I was pissed afterwards, since I've heard nothing but good reviews of this thing. Oh well, I have to try it again I guess.

Parc Asterix, it's the truly, real 2nd best theme park in France, after Disneyland Paris Resort ( but even Futuroscope, is really good, but a little worst than the two ). It have a really good selection of rides, that unfortunately you can't/want to record it. The theming is excellent and since I don't want to write a lot about this wonderful park, I'll move on to the sore point, so, in this case Goudurix. Yeah, this old coaster is famous here in Europe, like on Bandit on MoviePark Germany, to be one of the worst coaster, because it's not mantain very well. Unfortunately are not like the Invertigo of Six Flags America, that still running really smooth at Movieland park in Italy. Movieland park, is a family own version of Universal studios, with unique rides in the world. Next year, they will have a tram ride, like Universal ( it's a home made ) and it's their most important and expensive ride. If you'll return in Europe next year, to ride, Voltron, on Europa Park, I recommend to visit ( expecially during this period of summer ).
Gouderix in the back is actually way better than the front. I first rode it in the back and thought people were just complaining about this ride for no reason, but then I got a ride in the front and it was one of the worst experiences on a coaster for me. So yeah, ride it in the back or don't ride it, no middle ground
I only did it in the back and its still the worst ride ever for me. Every SLC is butter smooth compared to this
Tonnerre 2 Zeus is an even funnier name if you speak French (even to my limited degree, school was a long time ago) as it’s (almost, depends on accent) a homophone.
20:10 I never rode this. But I honestly feel like f***ing terrible also fits Wildcat at HersheyPark (the old Wildcat that closed down) I rode it twice and boy did my gut hate me for it, it hurt so much
I get the feeling that everyone has diffrent experience´s for zeus, goudrix and oziris😅. I found zeus to be the absolute worst of the park😂 , goudrix was alr🗿 and oziris was good, but defenitaly not the best (i prefer black mamba way more). Overall parc asterix is one of the best place´s i´ve been to (alround amazing parc)

Great Video. Two weeks ago I visited Parc Asterix and I agree totally with you. Will you also visit Walibi Belgium? Kondaa is another masterpiece from Intamin. Liseberg is also a very good Park. I will be there next weekend.

@@RemsRides I was just trying to make a point that it would have been entertaining if Jesiah and Marc attempted to speak more French and it was bizarre that the park staff them ride with their backpacks on most of the coasters. It looked super uncomfortable. But it’s understandable since English is their native language and this vlog was good as is, I’m just the peanut gallery in this fandom😂😂 I had 5 years of French and 1 semester of college so I just like to keep mine in check by practicing. Alors, c’est ça et désolé🇫🇷
