I told my friends even if the only thing you managed to save was a 400K USD house after 20 years of working. Those 400K USD in pesos is 23 million pesos. Most high paid filipinos like nurses make about 30K pesos a month. That is like 60 years of wages in the phillipines. You won't live like a king but you will be able to live above average to most filipinos in the provinces assuming your single. Im planning in going to filipines when I take my early retirement at age around 56. My goal is take about 800K USD but keep it invested generating earnings and live on about 100K pesos a month and do whatever I want whenever I want. USA is a damn Ripoff and super stressful. The thing about phillipines since it is so cheap it is much easier to maintain and grow wealth if you already wealthy.
I really want to go to the Philippines. Slowly trying to save my money, but working minimum wage is not working for me. I need to find a remote job or something. But still getting my passport and saving as much money as I can.

Even aside from Christian faith and values, the fundamental problem with American women is their attitude towards relationships. Both Thai women and Filipinas are better than American women, but if you are looking for a woman who is socialized to be kind and care for her man, a Filipina is the better bet. In Thailand there is that streak of regarding you as a Farang (foreigner) and there is a sizeable minority of women who feel just as entitled to take advantage of you as American women do.
This is crazy; I see more white dudes in The Phil than the actual Filipino dudes itself. Seems that way to me; although I know there's a population of Filipino dudes there. I guess they act as though that's the only Asian country in that region.
