I finally reached the point of asking her to join me in Leyte, where I was renting a nice house, fairly cheap, with schools close by for her daughters, and she declined. She asked me to come to her instead, living in a bamboo house in the countryside. "Simple," she called it. (I still think it's fairly primitive, but in this climate, it’s adequate.) She owns the property and never asked me for a dime except to pay my own fare to reach Bohol. I do put in money for family expenses so she can be home with me instead of working six days a week, but she would have just let me live here for free, asking nothing but that I love her...and that part is so easy! They're out there. Patience.

What happens in these situations they get the money from other men but never ask for money from the guy they truly want. That also left out the possibility that she had a Filipino bf or husband.
