Guys and Gals if you did not watch the entire video you need to stop right now and go do so, you will be glad you did, we promise.....This Tool amzn.to/3L0yP5v Will save you hundreds and hundreds of $$$$ FOLKs this unit is so small, it is smaller than my hand, and does so many things it will blow your mind...it re-vamps car and truck batteries, it welds and it staples. Quote of the Day: *Your talent determines what you can do. Your motivation determines how much you’re willing to do. Your attitude determines how well you do it*
Okay, ready to buy but have 2 questions. 1) Will this do both car and motorcycle batteries? 2) Is the smallest version the one we really want or should we use the discount to jump up another level to the 180A (or even the 200A)?
Almost ordered the 200 AMP, but no discount so settled for the 140 AMP. Considering how bad I suck at welding I probably won't use it as a welder anyhow. I probably should've done this a while ago but ended up getting even a better deal by procrastinating. Sometimes things just work out LOL. And I do have two batteries now that need the treatment.
I'd love to sample that lube you are apparently a big fan of.. do I leave my address here? Is this comment even in the correct spot to request the sample? Please let me know!😬 Also, thank you for ALL the phenomenal info, tips, advise, knowledge and expertise that you always share so generously! It's very much appreciated 🥰
I was literally about to pull the trigger on the 24" model from your first video... then I saw this! And i was needing a small welder that I almost picked up from harbor freight for 80 bucks. What perfect timing of me finding this. Thank you so much! My friend just paid 200 for a new battery so I feel like I'm getting one heck of a deal. Much thanks and respect from New Mexico USA
These days it's like a lot of batteries are almost made to die right after the warranty period is up. Where I'm at that's pretty much either a year or 18 months, so anything past that's a huge win 😅
It's a great little machine my friend! This is a lawn tractor battery, they usually only last one season, we've kept it going for almost 4 years for a savings of over $200. Thanks for watching, have a fantastic week. mad Mike
What! But the zip-tie repairs look so cool Hahahahaha. Seriously, I've seen plastic bumpers that were ripped apart and repaired with zip-ties. It looks hilarious LOL. Now I cannot believe that the welder is 60 bucks! You double your money on your first battery repair. Now that is one amazing tip my friend. Plus you get the bonus plastic repair kit also. You knocked this one out of the ballpark Capt.
It's sweeeeeet Leonard!! What a fantastic little tool, you are going to love it! The one we use in this video will do any battery that you have with ease! Thanks for watching as always, hope you have a great week my friend. mad Mike
Absolutely Keith!! It's a great little tool! Thank you so much for watching and sharing and for the 10 thumbs up, we truly appreciate it my friend. Hope you have a fantastic week. mad Mike & team
I almost bought a Harbor Freight wheeled battery charger for $150, then researched more and found I should use a manual charger, not digital w/all the safety features after reviewing your old video. Thanks for commenting on the old video to check out THIS new one because now I'm on the best path! I just ordered the 200A version since I'm thinking about learning to weld now. Even this model was 60 cheaper than that HF charger I'd have been disappointed with. And this is dead simple with no stupid safeties or "BAD" readout on a charger refusing to touch some batts. Thank you! 🤘
Glad you liked it and were able to get your hands on one Andy! You won't be disappointed my friend! Thanks for watching and sharing, hope you have a fantastic week. mad Mike & team
Good decision on not buying the big HF charger..they are crap..I've had mine fail and a friend's one as well. Other HF stuff has been fine..even the small chargers have lasted over a decade..that's pretty good. My best one I found in the trash and fixed.. and old early 60's Shauer!
Hey guys my inlaws battery died out of nowhere on there 2019 nissan and I hooked up my small stick welder to it and one of the cells was not bubbling,,dead, I ran it on low,25amps, for about 3 minutes then 85 amps 2 minutes then 135 amps 1 minute with 45 minutes in between cycles,, After 4 times the cell started to come back to life,,did it 2 more cycles,,its been 2 weeks and the battery works like new ,,,this definitely works..
Awesome!! Thank you so much for watching and sharing your results, we really appreciate it slamdunk! Have a stupendous rest of your week my friend. mad Mike
Our pleasure to share Marc! This amzn.to/3L0yP5v is a fantastic unit for this process. Thank you for watching and sharing, hope you have a great week. mad Mike & team
@@SweetProjectCars haha thanks its added to the cart, another item in the cart with the other 1000s of things LOL. Your very welcome and i hope your having a wonderful week to my friend ;)
Now that is epic. Going to try it on my big honkin' solar batteries. They are in need of some help and at almost 1k a pop there is no way in tarnation that I can afford new ones. Thanks for the idea!
Happy Birthday to YOU!!! LOL This amzn.to/3L0yP5v is a great gift for yourself ezorro!! Thanks for the view and comment, have a fantastic week my friend. mad Mike & team
Your channel is just the best! Does this process change on an 8 volt golf cart battery? My batteries are about 4 years old and I have lost power and range. Can I do it on more than one battery at the same time? My golf cart has six 8 volt batteries in it and I would love to do them all at the same time if that's possible. What do you think Mike? Can I get a sample of that lube too?
Hey, finally got to your comment my friend. This process works on any lead acid battery, for golf cart batteries, just cut all of the timelines in half. And, yes, you can do them together if you want. Thanks so much for watching and asking, hope you have a fantastic week. Also.............Congratulations!! You are a winner!! Thanks for the video! Just ordered the 200 amp version. Planning to use it on a battery that will no longer take a full charge. I would like a sample of the lube.

Mike could you tell us the make and model of the tractor the main battery in this video is off of? Is it from a 20hp small implement? It looks to me like a riding lawnmower type battery. The reason I ask is as you said in the comments most small implement batteries are good for a year maybe 2 at the outside. Thanks.

Awesome! I just ordered one. My deep cycle RV batteries need a refresh. Will this also work on golf cart batteries? If so, should I do two at a time with the 6 volt golf cart batteries?
This works on all lead acid batteries, and yes, you can do two at a time if you like, no problem. Thanks for watching and asking, have a great week my friend. mad Mike & team
Do you ever add acid or replace the acid? Also, what do you do if the battery starts boiling over? I have started the process on 2 old batteries but the smaller (60ah) one is boiling over very quickly and only at 29 amps which is as low as my welder will adjust to. The larger (74ah) is boiling up nicely.
We don't usually, but we have in the past used this amzn.to/4eDBoX1 It's normal for them to boil over, just top off the cells within an inch of the tops with this amzn.to/3gb9Ni0 during resting times. As far as the smaller battery, you cut all timelines in half for that size. Thanks for watching and asking, hope you have a great day and all the best on your project my friend. mad Mike & team
Mike,....you are the best! Going to order one tomorrow. Is there any way to revive a 12volt AGM battery (only 2 years old but let it stay in the van w/o turnover for about 10 months) ...that reads .51 on my multimeter? Forget about the modern chargers, even IF you try to trick them. Is it possible to use this machine? How would one monitor If it was coming back to life?? Thx for all the info.
Shucks!!!I saw your other updated video going from battery charger to buying two welders. I just ordered both welders now you come up with this one. Should I return the welders I just ordered and buy this one?
They both work Ben, but I believe this amzn.to/3L0yP5v is a little more economically priced vs. the other welders shown in our older video. It's your choice my friend. Thanks so much for watching and asking, hope you have a fantastic weekend. mad Mike & team
@SweetProjectCars OK, I canceled the order for the smaller 160 amp welder and ordered this Vevor. I'll keep the 200 amper for welding bigger stuff. Funny, my folks moved to Pensacola not long ago...I need to come visit them and the area. Thanks for the response
Glad you like it Geoff!! Also glad you received your lube, it is an amazing product!! Thank you as always for being here with us, it's appreciated my friend, have a fantastic week. mad Mike & team
Hay Mike I really liked what I saw on your demo and ordered one it just came in today can't wait to try it out myself. I'll let yah know how it turns out soon. thanks
Thank you for the demo. That is a very nice unit. I wish I could have used the discount code with in the limited time. It will be a future purchase now.
Yeah, they leave it for a limited time only, but it's still a great tool for the cost. Thank you for the view and comment, we appreciate it, hope you have a great day. mad Mike & team
Thank you for this video. I just received my welder and tried to hook it up to my car battery, but the welder positive lead cannot fit around my round battery terminal. What or how do i fix this issue?
Put a pair of these amzn.to/3r2lT8s on the battery post, clamp the positive to it and you should be all set. Remember, when working outside the box, you need to get creative. Thanks for watching, have a great week. mad Mike
For this amzn.to/3L0yP5v the discount code expired, but you can get it today for a large discount, check it out. Thanks for watching and asking, have a great week. mad Mike & team
Sweeeeeeeeeeeeet!!! Looks like you've got something there Hammer! I may just hafta get one of them. Although, that last feature with the staple, almost looks to me like a miniature branding iron😬😂. Anywho, I really like the compact size and being able to stick weld👍I'm just surprised you didn't get the 200amp machine😁 Brother take care and God Bless! Jay.
It's this amzn.to/3L0yP5v and it's all we will be using for this process from here on out my friend. Thanks for watching, have a great weekend. mad Mike
Awesome video Mike. Over the years I have watched your other videos with the battery charger and the higher priced welder, but this is absolutely amazing. I'm ready to buy now, but I have 3 questions first. 1. I see that this unit has 2 higher options 180A and 200A. Is there any reason I should consider one of them for other use as well as maintain my batteries? 2. Can I do this on a battery that is still in the car safely or do I need to take it out of the vehicle? 3. You mentioned using the unit on 220. Do we have to use it on 220 or will the 110 work also? Thanks for sharing this with us and bringing a great deal to us. I appreciate all your videos and share them whenever I get the chance. 😎
The one shown is all we will be using, due to it's extreme small size and power. It will do any battery that you need to have done, it can be done while the battery is still in your vehicle just remove your cables and make sure you can clearly view the bubbling of the cells, it runs off standard household current. Hope this answers all of your questions, have a great week. mad Mike & team
@@SweetProjectCars Thanks Mike for answering my questions on this unit. I am ordering it now and look forward to doing my first battery with it. I would love a sample of the new general purpose lubricant that you've discovered. 😎

Geez Mike. That machine is awesome. I have dead bike batteries. And i see it not only does welding but the heated staples for plastic as well like you demonstrated. Im not in the US though
I'm pretty sure you can get this amzn.to/3L0yP5v in South Africa Nico. It's a sweeeeet machine for sure! Thanks for the view my friend, have a great day. mad Mike
This is what we used amzn.to/3L0yP5v it's pretty inexpensive to have on hand for this process my friend. Thank you for watching and sharing, hope you have a great week. mad Mike & team
So my battery just died. Will only start the car with a jump. I just bought the welder. So now do I empty out the battery acid or do I keep the same acid and just add distilled water and hook it up to the welder? What is your suggestion. Start with fresh h2o or keep what's already in the battery? Thaks so much. I love your content.
Thanks for the videos Mike!! I just got one question, the 180A is actually cheaper than the 140A can I go with the 180 instead of the 140 and still get the same results?
Can this do deep cycle batteries. In previous videos on this tooic you recommended two different welders for regular standard batteries and different welder for deep cycle batteries. I wasnt clear why you needed two so my question is will this welder work for deep cycle ?
Yes you can DJ Dave! This is a new, state of the art welder that can be used for all lead acid batteries. Thanks for watching, have a great weekend. mad Mike
Why does the welder method work better than having an old school 200/300A charger start feature? The welder was only set to 75 amps so trying to understand how this method is better than your previous video where you used a car charger. I understand the welder has extra features but IF someone who already owns a high amp charger how does that compare?
After trying and testing both methods, the welder method proved to work better and is more economical for those that don't have the required charger. Thanks for watching. mad Mike
Our pleasure to share Scott!! This is a sweeeet little unit! Thank you as always for being here with us, we truly appreciate it, hope you have a fantastic week my friend. mad Mike & team
Only if it's hooked up to something and there's a possible draw from it, for example a battery that's in a motor cycle. Hope this helps, thanks for watching Jeff, have a great week. mad Mike
As far as I'm concerned, this one amzn.to/3L0yP5v will work for you, we've welded up to 1/4" steel with it without issue just make sure you have the correct rod and you are good to go my friend. Thanks for watching and asking, have a great week. mad Mike
Good Morning Mike, bought the machine and turns out the car battery is sealed, same as your motorcycle battery. Are you still planning a video on how to open them? Thanks
It depends on your battery and it's usage my friend. There are a lot of variables, if you start to notice that the starting isn't normal, then you need to do the process again. We've had them go a couple years or more before having to redo the process shown. Thanks for watching and asking Mike, hope you have a great week. mad Mike & team
SPC, just ordered the 180 model through your link at Amazon since it was on sale and less than the 140 model price. Are you still offering the lubricant? I'd like a sample if you are. Thanks

I would like a sample of lube. I got this welder, its working good on my battery, just got one cell that is not responding with any bubbles. Do I need to crank it to 50-70?
Just start off on the lowest setting then gradually turn it up until you get a consistent boil on all of the cells rg929. Also, Congratulations!! You are a winner!! Hi Mike, I live in Costa Rica and I loved the video, I want to get this unit and see hoiw I can get it shipped to Costa Rica, I'm thinking of getting the 200 Amp one, since the price is not that much of a difference. but I wanted to ask, I have an Arc welding maching at home that i used to do a lot of jobs here, it is one of those old dial ones that is supper heavy, would that one work if I set it to 70-75 AMp too? Thx for the video. Cheers
Your welder will most likely not work because even at the lowest setting it has way too much power. Your best bet is to find someone in the states to get this amzn.to/3L0yP5v for you and send it to you. Hope this helps, thanks so much for being here with us, we really appreciate it, have a sweeeeet week my friend. mad Mike
Thanks for the great tip on this unit. I am having a problem running it off of standard household current, though. Settings are 'MMA' on left up/down button and 'Arc Force' on the right side adjustment. It trips the 15 amp breaker on my 110 V circuit. I did once get it as high as '60' on the digital display but it trips the breaker after a minute or two. I certainly can't get it to 70 - 75 as you mentioned in your video. The user manual is of little help other than the chart which says @ 110V needs 37A. Near 40 amps is pretty high on 110V, isn't it? Any thoughts? The battery did start bubbling in all 6 cells for the short time I had it going, so, that's exciting. Now, if I can just figure out how to run it like you are able to I'll be in business.
Sounds like you have a bad breaker. Just so you know, you can safely put a 20amp breaker in the place of the 15amp. The reason I tell you this is because the shop I work in is at least 100 ft. away from my 100 amp service and there is only one 12 gauge wire coming to the shop and I have never blown a breaker, but then again, all of my breakers are 20amp. If you do not want to replace the 15amp with a 20amp, then do the battery charging set at 50 instead of 75, you will just have to do an extra cycle. Hope this helps, thanks for watching and asking, have a great week my friend. mad Mike
Hey Big Mike, just started the golf cart batts, noticed the fluid is a murky rusty brown color. Batteries are 2020 vintage. Is that normal? They boil good on all the cells with welder all the way down
Don't over analyze the process, it doesn't matter the color my friend. Sounds like you are doing it just how it's suppose to be done. Thanks for watching and sharing, have a great weekend. mad Mike

Hey Mike, i notice on the link there's three versions. Will the smallest be enough for car batteries or is it best to go with the 200 amp version? I ask because for the original video and the stuck welder video you recommend 200 amps.
The 140 is all we are using, it will take care of any thing you or we put it to my friend. The choice is yours though. Thank you for watching and sharing, have a sweeeet week my friend. mad Mike & team

should the water level be at below the cap always and even after the 5th process and before trickle charging? and also when already using a charger, should we still keep the cap open until fully charge? thanks
Great to hear!! Thanks so much for watching and sharing, our viewers will appreciate the tip my friend! Have a fantastic day and Happy Thanksgiving. mad Mike & team
The one we used in the video is the only one we will be using from here on out, it has all the power necessary to do any battery size Rushman. Thank you for watching, have a great week my friend. mad Mike
hi i’ve watched your refurbing battery videos from using a 200A charger then the 200A welding machine then this 140A welding machine… my question is after the 5x cycle of using the welding machine what’s next? from the first video (200A charger), if im not mistaken, we have to charge it with a trickle charger after the 5x cycle… do we still need to leave the caps open when using regular charger to charge the battery or do we have to put the caps back on after the 5th cycle before charging with trickle charger? hoping for your reply. thank you so much.
Watch this video ruclips.net/video/1z_f2Wen_UI/видео.html it shows you how to set the welder to avoid tripping breakers Bruce. Thanks for watching, have a great week my friend. mad Mike

I've been looking for one of these on eBay since your last video, 4 in 1 welders from china, just been waiting for the price to come down to justify buying it, how did you attach the plastic weld cable? Thanks
When you open the box and get the cable, one of the ends has a screw cap and it only goes in one way. Read the instructions thoroughly before doing this process MrVM. Thanks for watching and sharing, have a great week. mad Mike
Please re-watch the video a few times and listen carefully, also, watch this additional video ruclips.net/video/1z_f2Wen_UI/видео.html it has some important information about this method. Thanks for the view, have a fantastic day my friend. mad Mike & team
Remember, changing the process or tools used, may give you different results, the method and tools/products we use have been used by us for years with great results on our end. Thanks for watching and asking, have a great week. mad Mike & team
Doesn't a modern trickle charger, if kept on the battery when not in use, do the same thing for extending the life of a battery. I have an Optima battery in a car that is 10 years old and has been on the trickle charger the whole time.
The only thing a trickle charger is good for is when a car is in storage or for a motor cycle. A trickle charger will not do anything even remotely the same as this does amzn.to/3L0yP5v There's a night and day difference. Thanks, have a great day.
Don't waste your money, this amzn.to/3L0yP5v one will do everything you need to do my friend. Thanks for watching and asking, have a fantastic week. mad Mike
Mike I bought the machine but when I went to use it I had some issues. First it kept tripping the breaker. Also one of the cells bubbled way more than the others some did not really do much at all. The one cell boiled so much that it looked like smoke was coming out of it. It literally boiled all the water out of the cell after just 2 five minute cycles. What am I doing wrong any thoughts? Also will this unit work on deep cycle batteries ? Thank you
First off, I would watch the video one or more times. But here are some helpful hints: Make sure that all of your cells are full of DW, and do the process again. Leave the charger on 30, turn it on, leave it on until you see activity in the other cells. This could take 2 to 3 minutes. Once you see activity in all of the cells, turn it off, let it sit for 5 to 15 minutes. Then start the process over per the video. Keep doing the process as stated in the video, if you have completed the process as shown, and you still have cells that don't activate then your battery is junk. This happens on one in 200 batteries, that the battery is no good. As far as blowing breakers, you may have a bad breaker, you may have to replace it and we suggest going to a 20amp instead of a 15amp. to alleviate that issue. Your issues are not normal in any way shape or form, you either have a completely junk battery as well as a bad breaker, we've done this for years and never had the issues you describe so we know it's not the process. Thanks for watching, have a great day and all the best on your project. mad Mike & team

Just ordered one. I have a question. This video suggests five 5-min run - 15 min rest cycles. The original video suggested five 15 min run - 1 hour rest cycles. So which one to follow for a size 35 battery?
Do this video and use it's instruction, with this welder being state of the art it's all you need to do AyAy. Thank you for watching and asking, hope you have a great week. mad Mike

What perfect timing of me finding this. Thank you so much! My friend just paid 200 for a new battery so I feel like I'm getting one heck of a deal.
Much thanks and respect from New Mexico USA

hey! Nice little machine. The battery looks ancient, but the 11/20 sticker would indicate that it is less than three years old?
These days it's like a lot of batteries are almost made to die right after the warranty period is up.

I also have a old car battery 4 years old ,should I clean it first? I mean drain the liquid battery? Wash it with baking soda?

Would this small welded do the trick with any battery even a diesel truck battery?
Hey guys my inlaws battery died out of nowhere on there 2019 nissan and I hooked up my small stick welder to it and one of the cells was not bubbling,,dead,
I ran it on low,25amps, for about 3 minutes then 85 amps 2 minutes then 135 amps 1 minute with 45 minutes in between cycles,,
After 4 times the cell started to come back to life,,did it 2 more cycles,,its been 2 weeks and the battery works like new ,,,this definitely works..
Awesome!! Thank you so much for watching and sharing your results, we really appreciate it slamdunk! Have a stupendous rest of your week my friend. mad Mike

Mike could you tell us the make and model of the tractor the main battery in this video is off of? Is it from a 20hp small implement? It looks to me like a riding lawnmower type battery. The reason I ask is as you said in the comments most small implement batteries are good for a year maybe 2 at the outside. Thanks.

I love your content.
did you find the answer?
Thanks for watching. mad Mike

Hope this helps, thanks for watching and asking, have a great week my friend. mad Mike

hi i’ve watched your refurbing battery videos from using a 200A charger then the 200A welding machine then this 140A welding machine… my question is after the 5x cycle of using the welding machine what’s next?
from the first video (200A charger), if im not mistaken, we have to charge it with a trickle charger after the 5x cycle… do we still need to leave the caps open when using regular charger to charge the battery or do we have to put the caps back on after the 5th cycle before charging with trickle charger?
hoping for your reply. thank you so much.
I'm just taking a guess but i would think you would put the caps back on and then hook up the trickle charger to it.

Will the 200A charge faster than the 140A ?

How often do you do this?
For us it’s about every 3 to 7 years depending on the battery
Can you do it on a battery that is not yet dead?
Absolutely! That's the purpose of this video, do it before it's completely dead. Thanks for watching and asking, have a great week. mad Mike & team
@@SweetProjectCars Mad Mike is the best!🙃
Hi what settings do i use with 240v mig welder
Just start off on the lowest setting, then gradually turn it up until you get a consistent boil on all of the cells, then follow the process shown in the video. Also, see our other videos on this method here ruclips.net/video/LMulvB6TtQA/видео.html & ruclips.net/video/1z_f2Wen_UI/видео.html they have a lot of valuable information about this process. Thanks, have a great weekend. mad Mike
Thank you for watching and asking, hope you have a great week. mad Mike
