- It’s a little-known fact that Taji has always dreamed of learning to dance the tango.
But as we all know, it takes two to tango, so Taji took to Yelp in search of a private lesson with the worst-reviewed dance instructor he could find.
It turns out that Tango Jon does not take kindly to being challenged on his negative reviews. Will Taji be able to get through to Jon, or will he continue to dance alone?

For me the point of this series is to show the little good there even in the worst rated people, without tricking them but by being honest with the procedure from the beginning, and give second chance. Hidden camera wouldn't be in that spirit.
It will be way better..these people know they're on camera so it just isn't the same..but going in with hidden camera will get them sued...so nit happening

@@casualviewer9792 but it would be unprofessional if he didn't reply to you if you had asked about a service or are going be the next client? What if he has back to back clients. Then no new customers? Using a phone to conduct business is not rude. People should value and respect each others time. Not saying he should be on the phone constantly but a quick 2min phone break isn't something to get worked up about.
Taji's personality and the way he approaches these uncomfortable situations is what makes these series so entertaining and enjoyable, because he acts in such a relatable way. Most people who call him cringy would never have the balls to seek random poorly rated services and straight up confront the owners with their online reviews.
If you think getting paid to have conversations with people is difficult...

I think that he should go in with a hidden camera and a mic so that it will reveal their true character. If they see the cameras they will put on a show but if it is hidden they will treat him like anyone else.

Whoever edits this show is a total G all round.
When he says "Show me exactly what you've learned so far" I would have broke out my cell phone and started texting.
Taji is great at putting finesse into his awkwardness. I get the sense he learned this style of humour through actual social awkwardness. Personally when I learned to be comfortable with awkwardness, I was able to see awkward moments as funny, generally harmless, and most importantly, unavoidable. If you're awkward, just be that person, don't fight it or shy away - when you embrace it, and accept that awkwardness is baked into your DNA, you can actually use it as a source of self esteem, and hopefully lead to confidence, which I'm starting to finally fully grasp the real meaning of this word at 30 years old. Anyway I'm drunk and rambling, I guess I'm saying love yourself. Taji is a really likeable guy I think because of his confidence in his persona.

Im Argentinian and that thing Jon does with his chin is actually a very common gesture in our culture, it sorta means "i don't care". Just wanted to clarify in case people thought it was something men in my country do when talking about women, that is just not the case. Btw Jon is a good example of what we Argentinos call "grasa". Also, idek if Jon is Argentinian lol.

I was trying to think when I use it and it’s usually when I’m annoyed at someone I’m talking about then I’d use the gesture along with saying...”They can piss off¨ or “I don’t Know time will tell” and I think Jon is Indian I didn’t pick a Latino accent.

The "rude gesture" they're referring to in the reviews, with him flicking his hand out from under his chin, is something all my Argentinian friends do. It means, "Who knows?"

Taji are you noticing any similarities in the personalities for all of these business owners with 1 stars? I feel there are some very strong similarities in Tango Jon and The dating service lady or the Barber and even the plastic surgeon. Thanks for the show and all of your effort Taji!

That "rude gesture of flicking his fingers under his chin" is not a rude gesture at all. It's something that both italians and argentinians do to emphasize the idea of not knowing something or saying that something is irrelevant (mostly done by older people). At the same time he does it, he says "who cares". I find it very upsetting as an argentinian to see something that me and many people i know do on a regular basis as part of our own communication and culture, portrayed as a "rude gesture", at least in Argentina nobody makes that gesture in a mean way. The guy might be an ass, but it is your job as a journalist to at least investigate what that gesture means instead of repeating what someone said on yelp as a fact.
Driving, dancing, controlling a fishing rod, taking instructions from a photographer...the lack of coordination to controlling his limbs is so friggen hysterical.
