- Main Bhi Bharat is the first ever TV series in India on tribes. This programme deals with the issues related to the culture, identity, lifestyle and livelihood of the tribals.
In this edition from the state of Odisha, we explore more about the Hill Kharia primitive tribe.
The Government of India has put Hill Kharia tribe in PVTG (Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Group) and has laid special policies and schemes for this tribe. Main Bhi Bharat team travelled to Simlipal forest of Odisha to meet this tribe. Our team stayed with them for several days to understand their lifestyle and issues related to their livelihood.

मेरा नाम वसावा गीता है ।मे भी आदिवासी समाज से हु ओर हम भी जंगल के पास ही रहते है । नर्मदा जिले से हु जहा सरकार ने हमारी जमीने छीनकर स्टैच्यू ओफ युनिटि बना दिया है । हमे बहुत समस्या होती हे अब हमारे पास न तो खेत हे ओर ना कोई रोजगार ।
दिदि आप सभी को वहा के आदिवसी नेताओसे मिलकर जब तक सरकार आपकी जमिन और अधिकार नही देते तब तक आवाज उठानी पडेगी,,, क्योकी आज हम खामोश रहे तो एक दिन हमारा इस देश से नामोनिशान मिट जाएगा। देश कि तरक्की के लिए सरकार आदिवासियों की बली चढा रहे हैं ।😢😢

I am also a khadi. my home is also in the middle of deep forest and difference between me and them is, I think education and what an education is help ful for my life, if they understand the importance of education thay might develop one day.

हमारे यहा लोगो को बहोत समस्या होती हे हमारी कोई सुनता नही है लोग खेती करके थोड़ा बहुत चावल वगेरा बना लेते थै तो सरकारी कर्मचारी एक JCB लेकर आये ओर पगडण्डी रास्ते के बीच बडा गडडा खोद के चले गये

The Kharia tribe are very famous in india Gujarat. The Africans where paranoid that they though that they where Karai but they are not. These Kharia tribes where part of Lakshmi Narayan army of Bhagwan Krishna Chitroda. 🤴🏽🕉🔺➕
