Very easy. I didn’t bother to take the bumper off. I just bent it. Bending won’t break it. They take more abuse than that. But thanks for the quick and easy tutorial
You could have made a smaller hole if you had taken the plug ends off the rear bar then re install once thru. Watching this video since i plan to install tonight with the BT module.
Wonder if anyone sells some brighter non-Traxxas lights, these seem a bit shit. My UDR came with a light kit installed out of the box and that's _only just_ bright enough to be acceptable for night driving - and that kit has roughly double the LEDs of the front lights of this X-Maxx/XRT kit.
I was going to ask the same thing, I got the light kit for my sons sledge and he’s got running tail lights. Thanks for the video now I want a light kit for my XRT
The purpose of having a light bar is to light up the night and see this thing is the biggest waste of 100 dollers it is not bright at all. Unless you are getting car headlight bright this is poinless for being led halogen bulbs produce more than this.
That’s an easier install than for the x maxx and it looks better on the xrt . Thanks for sharing the video

I also discovered the hole for the roll cage works even better.

Can you use these AND the telemetry expander/gps module? Don't they mount to the same spot?

Aren’t the tail lights supposed to work. Only brake lights seem to work on your video
Hmm not sure what was going on in the video but the tail lights and brakes lights are working now
