Kian do you assist with shipping for dropshippers? We only ship when there is order so no inventory and no moq. Unit by unit shipping
Hey buddy I don't feel I could add much value in that unfortunately as if it's only shipping pc by pc then you can only really go off what is the market rate as you have to send out asap since the item has already been ordered. Unless you were willing to hold stock that's where we could come up with some strategies, all the best!

I don’t believe that the ports have to shut down because of Covid. We have had such a long time to get it right. Why doesn’t China have this problem,…or other non, western ports.
It's mainly down to the lack of workers and delivery drivers to transport the containers
Asking your manufacturer to cover the cost isn’t going to work, as this will either come straight off their bottom line, or they will reverse engineer the cost of the product and you’ll end up disappointed. We switched from freight forwarders to using our suppliers whom can source a better deal locally. Also this means the supplier has more control and influence, which is good for all.
Yeah I would have loved to give more context here but had the keep the video short.
I’m not saying they cover the cost of freight but that they contribute to the increase in freight cost from your last shipment.
You’re right this certainly won’t work for small orders or if there is no pre-existing relationship with the supplier.
But where it can work is if you’re doing larger volume orders with the supplier and the freight increase gets too high it becomes unprofitable to continue ordering that product and the manufacturer will lose a customer so they are more incentivised to work in partnership with you to and contribute a little towards to increased cost.

true.. ship f** it took 90days to ship and 2.5x cost.
Haha yeah man it's wild times, hopefully we see a recovery by the end of the year, the Ukraine / Russia conflict didn't help things!
Asking supplier to cover part of the freight cost strikes me as very bizarre.
It's only part of the increase since the last time you shipped. A lot of products become unprofitable as a result of rising freight costs and then the customer would just cancel the item and order altogether. But having the manufacture split the cost increase will save that product for the client and then when rates go back to normal the manufacturer will maintain those orders from that client for years to come. But it only really works if there has been multiple orders before and a good working relationship between customer and supplier - hope that helps 🙏
