I missed this game to spend quality time with a GF... she wasn't worth remembering to be honest but she was easy... Thankfully someone posted this game because for a while I regretted missing this one.
A game which Dallas rested their starters and didn't even put the effort. They had already clinched the division and a wildcard home game. For the Redskins they had started out so strong and then just faded in the second half and missing the playoffs.
This game was in a lot of ways the end of an era for both teams. For Dallas they were throwing this game for the last run in the p!ayoffs. The team Jimmy Johnson built fell apart after that year. As for the Redskins their season fell apart in the second half. Gus Frerotte probably should have been benched two weeks before this game but Turned refused to bench him even though he was unhealthy funny thing the next two seasons Tuner had no problem benching Frerotte and after 1998 he would cut Frerotte but it was too late. Tuner would never get a chance to contend again
Stephen Lewis Actually the Norv Turner made the playoffs in 1999 they won the Division that year. Funny thing they beat the lions in the NFC Wildcard 27-13 against Gus Ferrotte who they let go the year before in 98.
The Walker trade and San Francisco gifting them Charles Haley is what made Dallas and Jimmy Johnson. Jimmy Johnson was mediocre with the Dolphins. Then Walker is back in Dallas years later. Fkn joke.
It's heartbreaking to Old School Redskin fans to ponder what happened to the franchise.
The beginning of the end for both franchises. How appropriate.

Can't believe this stadium didn't make the top 10 list of the toughest stadiums to play in...
Игра номер один! Все олимпийские виды спорта в одной игре - American football game - number one!!!
Real football was played in stadiums like this.
I miss RFK, the orange bowl and candlestick park.
