How about drilling a few holes into the trunk, then pouring diesel into it?

How many days do diesel take to kill a coconut tree?

The diesel immobilizes the nitrogen in the soil . Hence not available to the green leaves and the diesel breaks down in a year

Bond Bondy Same with our neighbours 20’ conifer trees overhanging 6’ over our fence, last year I poured diesel on the roots and brown as a bear 2 weeks later, this year he had them chopped down. What a result

Bond Bondy Its better to cut a ring around the tree, down to the green, moist center, then wrap a diesel soaked rag inside the ring.
You'll kill the tree with minimum diesel left in the ground

@@sanjaymintu carve a ring in the bark, all the way around the base of the trunk. Carve deep, into the green, moist insides of the tree.
Tie rags together, long enough to wrap around the tree.
Soak the rags in diesel and tie the rags around the tree, in the ring you carved with the blade.
You might have to untie the rags and repeat this once, but it should be effective.

Soil breaks it down. Less then a gallon for most trees. How many gallons of gas and diesal you think is spilled or drips from millions of gas pumps. Or pouring gas into equipment. Gas and diesal are mostly a natural products. It's water and carbon. Life is water and carbon. As long as there is life there is carbon so it's a renewable resource. Billions and billions of gallons are replaced in closed wells yearly and reopened. As long as life is here oil will be. You have millions upon millions of years of organic matter being broke down under heat and pressure. That process isn't going to stop as long as microbe life is left on this planet. Oil is a renewable resource. All your organic forest and sea life continuously contribute. It's only dirty because they make it that way. If you have your car on a vapor carb. It goes from. 25 percent efficient to 99. You can sit In a closed garage with no carbon monoxide poisoning. Can sit there with detectors right at the tail pipe nothing. Most of the gas going in your engine is not used and run out the exhaust. Only vapors burn. So sending vapors with the air charge is 99% efficient and cleans out the old carbo. Crud. Search for shells 1957 Opel roaders 3 speed tran 377mpg. Was shown once in magazine never again and now in private collector theres videos on it. The carb was used in the 1920s Germans had 80mpg v8s in the 1930s. They didn't want people to convert there carbs over. Fuel injection is actually made to limit your fuel economy as it's not as easy to bypass but still doable. As with a carb directly on top it's much easier to convert to vapors only. Tons of lawn mowers and generators with these vapor carbs on them.

@@brianfitch5469 I don't have a gas station on my ranch, I wouldn't advise pouring fuel any where on a place that your getting your fresh water from. It's just a bad idea.

Always use a deadcat on your microphone when recording outside. The wind noise is distracting.
