Hi AP I am now the proud owner of a zfc with a small rig grip after watching your videos about the camera. I shoot mainly in aperture priority and have managed to configure the front and rear command dials to change aperture and exposure compensation without using the top plate dials, for me it's just what I'm used to. Although the kit lenses that came with the camera are very good and produced good results, I'm sure better f 2.8 or f 1.8 prime lenses like the one you used in the lavender field will produce better image quality. I will be looking to add a couple of prime lenses in the future, when funds allow. Really enjoyed this video again, keep up the good work 👍
Great to hear you jumped in and bought the Zfc. I must have missed something in the manual regarding the function wheels. I can’t get the front one to do much at all, only works in picture view mode. I will look again. I agree about the lens. It’s a good lens but yes the two other lenses I have do really well. They are prime though and I do like the zoom function. :-) I am the same as you and will invest in lenses. When funds allow. I am glad you liked the video and really appreciate you taking time to message me.
Hi. Yes you can. If you are talking about the F mount lens then an adaptor is needed. I got mine quite cheaply off MPB. The Zfc will take any Z mount lens.
The Z fc has the same pixel density as the D500 & D850. It comes down to the glass you are using. The FTZ adaptor allows you to use all the F Mount glass. If you want fast Z lenses Viltrox and Laowa make some excellent lenses at reasonable prices.
Got the adaptor now. The big old glass can go on if I want it. It’s the weight issue for me still but I am slowly getting better and can handle the weight for a short while. Laowa is on my list for new lenses. Really good and not expensive.
You are right. I was running off a generic print programme. Didn’t realise it. Will switch to the newer Mac and get the proper print programme. I can also get it calibrated to the paper.

there is something about the zfc pictures .. there’s a pleasant softness … and i don’t mean they’re out of focus
Maybe it’s to be look closer to film than digital. I must say, the images shown in RUclips don’t look as good as they do directly.
Which printer do you use?
Hi. It was the canon 100S
Thank you for the information
@@huberthandy7259 I should have said Canon Pro 100S. Sorry. Sitting beside it now.
Your printer need to be calibrated.. the colours the shadows are all off .. not little off .. like OFF..

Fujifilm XT30ii is much better and cheaper! Nikon has no ASP-C prime lenses. Less value for your money. 😢
Tried Fuji. Wasn’t happy with what I got out of it. I get your point though.
