    You should try this with camera low while pointing directly up the hill towards the sky would give a lavender bridge effect like a wooden bridge going over water but a bridge made of lavender going over green grass. Arch effect. I would of given that a go 😆

      @AccessiblePhotography but that's just an idea though its not a dig at your capabilities. You know what you're doing very clear and unmistakable in your videos

      It's a great wee camera. I am working on an image-quality video just now. I have done some video work, but I have not been well enough to finish it yet. I hope to finish the last video work this week and edit it at the weekend. Fingers crossed.

    Hi, I have come across your wonderful RUclips channel as I have been researching the Z FC. I have the Z50 and enjoy using it very much, but I miss the fully articulating screen that my Olympus camera had. Do you know if the Z FC can be used with just the front and rear dials as I use my Z50 , and not necessarily the top dials? I two have suffered with covid and long covid and like you are trying to keep the gear weight down to a minimum. Keep up the good work, and I look forward to future videos 👍

      Hi Clive thanks for liking my modest channel. Sorry you too have suffered from the dreaded Covid-19.
      I am glad you asked this question about the command dials as it made me really look at what I had set up and what function the command dials provide.
      I’m think your Z50 dials will adjust F stop on one and shutter speed on the other. I am sorry to say that as far as I can work out this is not possible with the Zfc. The rear dial does adjust the f stop but the front dial does not adjust shutter speed. The front command dial works in tandem with the front function button for things like white balance or AF modes which is what I have it set to.
      Using the shutter speed dial on the top is not difficult. There is no need to drop the camera from the eye line to view the dial as the speed is shown in the viewfinder as you make the adjustment.
      The front dial also works in menu mode to move around or in picture view.
      The Fujifilm XT-4 and probably XT-5 does allow you to switch from using the upper dials to the command dials. I just didn’t like the image quality I got nor the having to use their software as the sensor is built differently.
      As for image quality on the Zfc you will find it the same as the Z50.
      I hope I answered your question. It may not be the way you wanted it though.
      Have fun researching.

    The only and biggest limitation of Nikon APS-C is very few available lenses. Fujifilm is the king of the hill regarding APS-C.

      It's true. Although defeating the weight argument I am using my Fx lenses via a F2Z adapter just now. Fuji and I didn't get on. So happy to stick with the Nikon. ;-)

    Wonderful location, I looked forward to this after seeing your shot on Instagram. Seems you have made some babies cry 🤣 kidding kidding. But really, the shots were fantastic, the lavenders just pop and good to see you well enough to be out and about a bit more often 😁 great decision to change to a camera that doesnt make you struggle and works for you.

      Thanks mate. No worries about the babies comment. It’s true. I just need to look at them and they cry. 😂. Slowly getting out more. It’s not been easy. I noticed my voice in the video was going when I came to do the edit. Maybe just a touch of hayfever I hope nothing else is going wrong.

    brand? model?

    • @AccessiblePhotography
      @AccessiblePhotography  8 месяцев назад

      Hi. That’s a “Three Legged Thing” tripod. Model is “Brian”. (Evolution3). It’s a travel tripod to be fair. Fully extended including the centre column and it goes way above my head. I bought it second hand a few years ago. I am not sure if that one is still made but the company does have others available.

      @@Oculus729 I’m not a tech person. I think the stabilisation is in the lens. Certainly I was using it at stupidly low speeds at the weekend and the images came out fine.

    • @Oculus729

      @@AccessiblePhotography with IBIS you can use non-stabilized lenses by third party makers. IE, old manual Nikkor lenses or Leica lenses, for example.

    Is Nikon Zfc perfect for every day shooting?

    • @AccessiblePhotography
      @AccessiblePhotography  Год назад

      Hi. I think the ZFc is an excellent camera for carrying around all day. It takes perfectly acceptable images for the majority or people. What I mean by that is most of us do not want to print our images on poster sized paper. I have used the camera now for many months both in full manual and on auto. It is excellent on auto and produces really good pictures in standers settings. Where you want to adjust for bright or low light then using manual or shutter priority is useful.
      Is the camera perfect? That is hard for me to say. The negatives are that for everyday use it is maybe not as durable as a more expensive model. There is a lot of plastic in this and if dropped I’m not sure how it will survive. My D850 bounces and works fine! But it’s too heavy for all day carry.
      Other negative is the battery size. I have three and that will do me fine all day.
      If you just want a camera with you everyday and live the tactile retro feel then yes it is a good camera for you so long as you are careful and not using it every five minutes.

    I have a lavender field like that near me, it’s full of screaming children, and people. It’s not very relaxing, plus the owner wants to charge photographers £1000 to take photos there.

    • @AccessiblePhotography
      @AccessiblePhotography  11 месяцев назад +1

      I went on a weekday if I remember correctly. Certainly a photo club colleague said the Saturday was bedlam. The owner here only charges for professional photography being done. I think he lets them in early or after hours so the place is clear of people. I did think I was going to be challenged when a gent approached me. I assumed, rightly, very quickly, that he was the owner. Thankfully he just came over for a chat.
