    Another great video Eddie from a fantastic location. You've taken wonderful images and compositions that I have never identified.
    Have a great trip to Iceland, looking forwards to your vlog.📷🤔

      Thanks Tim. I’ve got to spend a bit more time showing how I set the compositions up. I need to slow down and maybe get a bit fitter… Hopefully Iceland will be awesome… Let’s see if they can handle my moaning.

    First went there in 1966 and still keep returning, such a magic location apart from Bank Holidays 😮. Another good informative video. Would have liked a frontal view of the camera though when explaining the fitting and working of the filter system. Have used K & F for years, finding them practical and cheaper than others. Well done. 😊

      Thanks Phil, I’ll offer more detail when I hit the Beacons. The light wasn’t challenging the filters so I’ll look forward to showing them off a little more when it does.

    You know our eyes are amazing. When you were talking about looking at waterfalls it's true as our eyes continually capture movement, we cannot freeze the scene with our eyes. That's where our cameras come to our aid. Great discussion. just to let you know I've subscribed, would love to see your channel grow. You put a lot of work in production wise, great editing too. I'm a Gavin watcher too.
    Cheers fella.

    Nice one Eddie, some great shots there. Been up there twice always people about, must start getting up early. Liked the longer in depth vlog with more of what you were seeing and doing to catch the shots. Keep it up mate.

    One of my favourite spots, I don't think I've ever seen so much water there. When I went last summer I set a record for the most amount of insect bites I've had in a day, maybe this is a good time of year to go back.

      Absolutely no bites on this visit! I had the place to myself for the whole shoot as well. Recommended.

    You made good use of those filters and they made some very nice images-roll on Wales.

    It’s a lovely spot. Only been once and there was loads of people so need to go back. No issue with the longer video. As long as it’s interesting and informative 👍

    Like the video, you appear to be enjoying yourself more than usual out in the wilds...love the drone video as well. When you going Wales to capture some real (oops) waterfalls? Interesting to see you were asked to review the filters, hope you get more offers from suppliers like that. I see you are not far off the 1K followers, hip hip... The last waterfall pic was epic...

      Thanks Andy. Craig and I have our sandwich boxes already prepped for Wales but as you are probably aware the weather has been pretty rough.
      I’m Iceland in 2 weeks so it may now have to follow that trip. We’ll see!

    I tried to take a waterfall photo using my phone at swallet, couldnt get it as if I decreased shutter speed then it let in too much light, iso was set to be the lowest too.

    • @EddieSkelson
      @EddieSkelson  8 месяцев назад

      If you are serious about using your phone take a look at some of the filter systems. Or, you could cheapass it and use a cheap DSLR filter held (or clipped) in front of it.

      @EddieSkelson so a lense to reduce the amount of light entering the lense?

    • @EddieSkelson
      @EddieSkelson  8 месяцев назад +1

      @@brewswithviews think of it as a pair of sunglasses. The filter will add stops of light enabling you to slow that shutter down.
