- Lewis Black slammed Banana's Comedy Club in Poughkeepsie,NY as well as Fallon's hometown Saugerties,NY, and my town Kingston,NY lol.
Fallon started his career at Banana's in Poughkeepsie, and went to high school in Saugerties

From all the times I've been in Kingston and Saugerties, I'd never guess that Lewis Black would draw a crowd there =:-o
I live in Kingston, N.Y. Worst mistake I made was coming back. The city has shown no growth in decades. They can't even keep the roads paved properly. For all the high taxes people pay and get no results in return. Its sad.

It's tremendous that a comedian of this caliber even acknowledges where we are even in the comedic sense. I wouldn't be opposed to an entire set DEMOLISHING the entire Hudson Valley. Grain of salt people. If we can't laugh at ourselves what the hell are we doing here?

Poughkeepsie was once a nice city and now its full of heroin addicts and crime. Saugerties, is not a city but a nice town. Kingston is pretty cool. Poughkeepsie is really developing its waterfront and the walkway over the Hudson is fantastic and is the largest city between Yonkers and Albany.
Ellenville is a nice place

Poughkeepsie sucks. I don't see how you can compare it to Saugerties. There just isn't any comparison really. I'm from Kingston but I don't really miss it.

Lewis played Kingston last night @ UPAC, and didn't seem to mind taking $$ from the locals. Place was sold out. Pretty much same old shit, a rerun of the show he did @ The Palace in Albany last year. Come on Lewis, isn't there enough new material for you to work with?
