I'm a 23 year old androgenic alopecia sufferer, 5 months on finasteride 1mg/day, I'd like to consult with you regarding a future hair transplant! The crazy thing is that any other elite doctor would have need at least 4000 grafts for the same result.
It depends on the donor area- this guy had crazy thick donor are. Look at the amount of doubles,triples and 4/5 hair grafts he had. That’s crazy plus the fact he’s been on fin for a year helps a lot!

This result looks great. Do you have a graft breakdown? The patient must have had an above average donor density - graft to hair ratio to achieve this density. Is any of this improvement attributed to hair loss medications?

I have had several hair transplants.
About 6,000 total grafts. It looks good, but not like any of Dr. Couto's.
I have done an absurd amount of research. The density in these videos seems impossible. Based on these videos Dr. Couto has achieved higher density with lower graft numbers than any other Doctor alive today or ever.
What I'm getting at is that it is simply not possible that he is the only Doctor in the world able to get crazy high density in 1 hair transplant. Every single video is crazy high density. I have spent an enormous amount of time scouring the internet, it's not even possible to find any other Doctor doing what Dr. Couto is able to do. You would think there would be at least a few other Doctors posting crazy high density videos or pics. No one else is because they know that the density in Dr. Couto's video is simply not possible.

1) does the patient do some blood test before to see if the hair loss is stress or androgenic/hormones or something along those lines ?
2) should one start to take already Finesteride 6m-12months before the operation ? I mean, going back to 1), should one need to do a test or to see if Finesteride is a fit for them or one can start already ?
3) is the cost dependent on how good your density is, how good the donor area, how much you need actually to fix your issue ?
4) can the cost be estimated roughly before going in there ?
