We are bringing down the walls brick by brick, this is encouraging. May both Africans and the diaspora continue to learn about each other and we will surely meet halfway.

Shell is leaving Nigeria onshore...as the Nigerians have many tribes and the people are hungry for what's theirs. The way things are going in Nigeria...they will have to get out and leave these people to rule their country. They require what they have and they will take it by force...every tribe is crazy and beautifully so. ❤

No Shell are leaving onshore because they've taken all they want (devasted the areas in their wake ) and now want to focus on Nigeria's offshore and gas as oil use will be going into decline.
Still we do not dominate in that space in our own country.
We have more gas than oil and have been flaring it for years, literally wasting it. We have not gotten in the driving seat of our own resource....Yet again.
Who now do we blame ?

Gbam! You’ve got to challenge what you hear and what you believe in. The reality is that everyone have had their own experiences and cultures that at the end of the day shaped who they are. Understanding one another and where we come from could perhaps breach the gap. If we were to co-exist without issues, there is a need of platforms for robust conversations about our histories collectively. We are the same people and this animosity is nothing short of self hatred. How can your own people be your enemy? We all know that divide and conquer has been the weapon used to divide and separate us. Our only weapon that we can use to defeat imperialism and colonialism is unity. Together we can conquer.

You see the issue of religion....
Many of us who know our own personal history are angry at the idols of our ancestors because we feel they betrayed us.
I see my ancestors as heros and heroines, completely removed from the idols they worshipped.
I find it odd, that there's instant judgement for any son/daughter of the soil who defies the idols.
Yet, foreigners not only defied these idols, they took them away to their museums. Displayed them, making money off them for centuries, without the usual catastrophic events their original worshippers fear them for.
Sounds like there was a deal, a deal our ancestors were not invited to, but that deal destabilised our ancestors and the Black race up to this point.
It is ironic, that the ONLY Black empire that was NOT colonised was ETHIOPIA.
ETHIOPIA the FIRST to become Christians way before Europe got a wind of it. Sounds like Christianity is not the problem here.
When you know the Spiritual mapping of your family and ancestors, and you look at Christianity with deep spiritual insight, you would understand WHY Christianity is preferred among most Africans.
Reading Christianity from how Europe related to Black people, is like reading Black people from the point of slavery - incomplete history.
It has been said that, "Half-truth is more devastating than a complete lie."
    Peace 🤎
