    Also try checking if your jaw isnt slack in the first place. Teeth touching relaxes the muscles. I also did this consistently back in high school and my neck did grow in size.

    Out of curiosity, when doing the basic neck moves you show (the yes and no) are you moving loosely or using tension? If that makes sense....

    • @TomMorrison
      @TomMorrison  Год назад +1

      Controlled and loose really 😂 not super tense like you were lifting something heavy

      @@TomMorrison thank you. I’ve tried it both ways and the more isometric type aggravated the piss out of a very deep old whiplash trigger in my scm...I wasn’t positive if I should push through hoping that strength would help it eventually, but it got really angry and started hurting my teeth and clamped my ear shut 🙄...hoo boy.
      Thanks for helping and for being you. ❤

    I have bad knots in my shoulder blades, neck, and collarbones that keep me locked in rounded shoulders. When I massage them, they release for like 10 minutes and I regain mobility until they sieze up and lock again. What does that sound like generally so I know what videos to watch?

    • @TomMorrison
      @TomMorrison  Год назад

      You might need some scapular movement! Try this: ruclips.net/video/xUvq9R9EzZg/видео.htmlsi=Uni02MY2p6YYJnDY

    • @TomMorrison

      Would go after your hip flexibility overall really and also incorporate loads of things like deep split squats and single leg deadlifts with weight so you can cope with the martial arts training easier

    You seems like a person who should know something about human anatomy but still wearing junk shoes which ruin feet function. Barefoot the only normal way

    • @TomMorrison
      @TomMorrison  Год назад +1

      Nah you can offset “normal” shoes just by being barefoot at home more often and by doing foot strength exercises, barefoot shoes aren’t the “fix” for everything
