    My girlfriend and I visited Marseille last week and learned about this tragedy. I'm so sorry this happened to your beautiful city.

    My father was in Marseille in WWII with the US Army as an electrical engineer. Listening to and seeing the films of the bombing and destruction of this city makes it clear what caused the extreme symptoms of PTSD my father suffered from until his death.
