    I got three options:
-Instead of a pod racing coaster, what if it was a coaster that was based around flying an X-Wing?
-What if Disney did a coaster themed to emperors new groove (I’m saying they could do that just to have a drop track or other similar element themed to “pull the lever Kronk, WRONG LEVER” line)
-What if Universal built a Back to the Future roller coaster, which takes riders up to 88mph to simulate the time travel speed?

    • @jeffreysmith5671

Fun fact: The BTTF ride that was the simulator was going to be a roller coaster but the idea was put in the trash can due to the creative personnel having feelings about how the coaster would be too fast to tell a story.

I have to agree, Galaxy's Edge needs a coaster, AND it's the perfect IP to use for a thrill or family thrill coaster. My wishlist for this is a multiple-launch S&S axis that stays low to the ground, themed to flying through Beggar's Canyon, whether it's podracing or in a T-16 skyhopper or whatever. Doesn't need to actually invert, they could just as easily use the ride's unique design to have the track itself flip from wall to wall to make each corner into a near miss element while keeping the seats upright. So that actually checks two of your boxes.

Busch Gardens Tampa is my home park, so if they ever announce a giga coaster, I'm going to lose my mind! The closest giga to me currently would be Fury 325 which is like a 9 to 10 hour drive. But it'd be so cool to have a giga coaster only an hour drive away.

Living within 3.5 hours of Cedar Point and Kings Island, Sarah's *Ohio enthusiasts* comment hit me at my core. Good you're feeling our reaction 1000 miles away, though!
100% agree SeaWorld Orlando should get a wood coaster. Always felt they need a ride in the Antarctica section themed to the Shackleton expedition, and a GCI hybrid woodie is perfect for that. I'd also love a Mack XSC there replacing Journey to Atlantis - that'd be a fantastic theme for it. Could see a family wing coaster at Legoland, but a thrilling version at IoA in the rest of Lost Continent would be incredible. Agree with the Fun Spots getting a mini Raptor and 4-D Free Spin, but either park could get an Axis. (Or Legoland could get one themed to Bionicle!)
Would be great if EPCOT and Animal Kingdom could get new coasters. A Vekoma flyer would be fantastic next to the...Germany pavilion. But a tilt coaster would only make sense within an Indiana Jones-esque theme. Maybe a US version of Raging Spirits next to Dinosaur? Oh well - pretending to own all the parks is half the fun anyway.

As an Ohioan, I've never felt we would be considered the "theme park capital" or anything of the sort. That's clearly central florida. If anything, Ohio has the best "collection of rollercoasters within 2 parks in the same state."

    • @Spike-sk7ql
      @Spike-sk7ql Год назад +2

As an Ohioan, we can't claim that we are a theme park capitol. We have the best parks in CP and KI, but we don't have the climate to have more park chains interested in building here. We would have still had Geauga Lake if six Flags didn't screw it up. You just can't build a mega park like that in the area it was in. Maybe something like that would have worked out just outside of Columbus, but not in Aurora. I miss Geauga Lake. 25 mins down the road from me. Now I'm at least an hour and a half away from CP, or 4 hours to KI.

    Guys, I have a poll-like question for y'all:
A very rich businessman from Brazil, called Alexandre Costa, is planning to invest around 2 Billion Brazilian Reais (391 Million Dollars) or more in a Theme Park to be opened in 2026 or 27, and for sure will try to bring a major coaster to the country. As he is the owner of the country's largest chocolate franchise (over 3000 stores, expanding to US now), he is inspired by Hershey Park, and although he doesn't have the budget in U$D to build something like it, he will still try to accomplish something similar. In the hypothetical situation where he would be willing to spend up to 40 million U$D in a nice coaster, which model would you guys like to see? Brazil's has already been home to the Colossus' prototype, and held the record for most inversions until that very same coaster came and took it in 2002 adding 2 more heartline rolls to it, basically cloning Makaya's layout, besides hosting the first Launched/Shuttle coaster Schwarzkopf built (former King Kobra, nowadays called Katapul), so I think it's safe to say that the country deserves a major coaster and this makes me wonder what you enthusiasts from up there would expect to see in a park which the objective is to bring tourists from abroad. Please use your imagination, just try to stick to the 40 Million U$D price tag.
Ps: the park will be located near São Paulo, the biggest city in the Americas, so safety won't be much of a concern. Consider it not so different from, let's say, Ohio (I made the calculations and in 2022 the murder rate was basically equal in both states).

one thing that occurred to me after watching your Arie Force one video is that if Fun Spot is working with RMC on more than just Arie Force, it would obviously open the RMC Raptor for the Orlando park (because they don't have a coaster with an inversion) but also, and keep in mind this is AFTER they fully retrack Mine Blower (it needs it bad), potentially an RMC Family I-Box for Kissimmee, as I think it would work well. Like Dollywood has the eagles in the middle, that would have been the perfect use for Toothless or the other Dragon characters. Needing a Giga ANYWHERE: It's not like it's such a different experience than a Mega.
A scary coaster to replace Rip Up Your Crotchit: This coaster is officially now part of the Illumination Avenue area so it REALLY needs to be a family coaster. Replace that wasted open space with a Super Silly Fun Land, give us some flat rides and theme this up, getting it the H out of New York.
But yes, Extreme Spinner NEEDS to go somewhere! NOW! USF also needs some sort of flume coaster.

I will die on a hill to save Muppetvision 3D, but at the same time, I will always say that the logical concept for a coaster expansion to Galaxy Edge at Disney Hollywood Studios is a S&S Axis coaster themed to pod racing. Pod Racing being the Outer Rim version of Nascar. Before the Vekoma crowd walks in to tell me that Disney only works with Vekoma which isn't true, Sensei owns both Vekoma and S&S, so it's possibly that Disney once it gets House in order might start to look at expanding with a Axis Coaster. As for a Tilt Coaster, Disney could always work with Vekoma to make an Indiana Jones Tilt Coaster that starts as kind of a mind train with a launch until it gets to a ricket bridge like area to do a Tilt section. It would also be kind of a response to the Donkey Kong Coaster at Epic Universe. However, I'd prefer letting COTAland keep the Tilt Coaster unique in North America for at the least five years.

If they’re going to turn that whole area within Star Tours/Galaxy’s Edge into a Lucasfilm area with a new entrance to a new Indie area, then they could possibly relocate Muppets Courtyard. So, a tilt coaster... you could actually make it a bit of a hybrid coaster/dark ride, especially if you also give it a launch so you can use a Time Traveler-like layout. Start it off with a themed dark ride section that leads onto the tilt section. Make the tilt section have a cinematic sequence, like you're on a bridge or pier and it starts to break and tilt over. Have the drop go through a tunnel as well, so that you can add effects to it like you're falling into some sort of abyss.

Now what if Epic Universal or if not Islands of adventure made the rumored Zelda land at one of their Park's and one of the lands anchored attractions would be a Mack extreme spinning coaster and the ride would go through multiple elements never seen before including and show scenes. Now there's two ways they can do this. The one at Islands could replace the Lost Continent by demolishing Poseidon's fury KEEP MYTHOS BUT retheme it with the same menu of course and Add a super awesome immersive dark Ride themed to one of the Zelda games. Now the second option is to wait until epic universe is open and then they could use one of the expansion pads as the same ideas the last. But this time they would have more room to work with.

I feel like the axis coaster could work at either Epcot or animal kingdom with a Tangled theme. The cars don't necessarily have to flip riders, but like a journey through the forest with axis cars would be cool (Disney's take on Hagrids).

You know, that rumored Fast and Furious coaster coming to Hollywood could be a cool replacement of Rip Ride Rockit. Then that would give them the perfect excuse to tear down the insultingly bad Supercharged attraction!

I think a MACK Extreme Spinner could work at Universal Studios Florida but you'd have to find a good spot. It could work as a replacement for Hollywood RRR or be placed elsewhere. But the thing that I think would work best about it is that you could make it an indoor coaster. USF likes to use big city building facades to hide its show buildings and you could definitely build a 100-120 foot large scale show building and put a MACK Extreme Spinner in there. You could theme it to a random Universal IP or just to some generic aspect of Hollywood and the film industry. My point is that they could make it look like a series of skyscrapers in New York, LA or San Francisco and then just have some kind of darkened ride experience with a bit of theming along the way. It wouldn't need to be too extensive because you'd already struggle to fixate on any one object so just some lighting effects, fog and inexpensive set pieces would be more than enough.

I agree with a lot of your ideas. I live in Orlando but grew up going to Cedar Point and Kings Island. Would love to see Busch get a Giga! I disagree with your opinion on Rip Ride Rocket. It is so unique and fun! Would like them to bring it back to it’s original glory it’s gotten a little rough it used to be super smooth. Needs the hulk treatment 😉😊 Seaworld is going hard with adding coasters. I think they have more property to expand so they will be the one to watch IMO 😊

I actually work at Busch Gardens and I don't think we will get a giga. If you were to replace it in Kumba's area, the ground is too soft to support a giga and its footers. Plans were actually made to remove Kumba for another coaster. We never knew what it was, but the plans were eventually scrapped. I don't see any other room in the park area for a giga, but I believe a RMC Raptor would be the best coaster for this park at the moment. Also, I wouldn't mind a GCI there either.

    Busch Gardens Tampa :
    B&M Giga
Launched B&M Wing coaster that stays low to the ground the entire time, invest in theming and put it in the Jungle section and theme it to a snake. Use cool effects and make it go into trenches and utilize near-misses with the ground.
    Fun Spot Kissimmee :
S&S axis, something like Dragon Slayer
    Fun Spot America :
    Stunt Pilot clone
    Seaworld Orlando :
Gerstlauer family coaster ( Something like Wakala )
    Universal Studios :
Mack hyper w/ attached spinning car like on Icon.
Zierer / Intamin vertical launch coaster with onboard audio.
    New park
Something in Jacksonville or southern Florida to provide a full - day cheaper alternative to the larger parks, like a Six Flags park. The roller coaster lineup would include :
    Vekoma Giant Inverted Boomerang
    RMC similar to Storm Chaser
    Zierer Large Tivoli
Zamperla family coaster w/ log flume, a clone of the new coaster going to Iowa’s Adventureland.
    Chance Hyper
    Indoor custom Maurer Spinner
    Vekoma tilt coaster
    S&S family invert
Ultra Twister w/ dive loop knockoff ( sounds crazy but I think S&S / Togo / Taziker Coasters could pull it off.

I think Busch Gardens should go after the Giga, but I think they will get something like Pantheon at BGW. I also think BGW will get something like Iron Gwazi. BGT could get both (Giga and Intamin). SWO I would agree with the GCI woodie. It makes too much sense. I think you replace Rip Ride Rockit which is horrible with the Mack Extreme Spinner. I agree with the small RMC Raptor in one of the Fun Spot Parks, and how about the axis in the other? As far as Disney goes besides GOG and Everest I really don't think of their parks for coasters. At least Star Wars is a theme that makes sense for most people and should be a draw.
