    Helpful hint:
Rubberbands are handy but don't last "forever" I saw in another video to use a rubber band but to then tie it off with a piece of twine/thick string .... made sense to me!!

Claire’s Crafty Corner And you didn't chatter us to death, either. Often people say the same simple thing over and over. Teachers and public speakers are afraid of quiet. The sounds of creating are pleasant, in the case of the gnomes. Combine that with a pleasant voice and an engaging vocabulary this was a wonderful tutorial.

I made one but he needs a beard replacement. My gnome’s nose was hella hard to grasp and put anything on besides string, and I had to use a slipknot lasso to do that. However he came out very cute despite my manufacturing deficiencies. Woman you must have 5 arms to make the gnome and videotape in 3 minutes 14 seconds. So much fun. I think I will make another one now. Thx for the tutorial. Ditto the music. I like listening to makers.

TFS! You might have got it under 3 by simply double knotting the sock... no cutting no bands no hot glue. Simple and secure. Also...my gram taught me.....rags work well as stuffing-cut em up or roll up an old sleeve or pant leg. (weight with a bag of pebbles if needed for smaller gnomes or fat snowmen.) The amount of old clothes that end up in landfills in the U.S. is mind boggling. We must re use more fabric.
