You're not alone! When it's been posted in various music forums or Moody Blues fan groups a lot of the comments are that people have never heard it. It was only ever available as one of the extra studio tracks on side four of "Caught Live + 5" and a rarities compilation album called "Prelude", which I believe is out of print now. I found out that it was recorded during the "In Search Of the Lost Chord" sessions, but found to not be a good fit for that album. On this channel I try to do videos mostly of deep cuts that many people might not know, rather than the well-known hits that already have a lot of different RUclips videos.
Apparently it was recorded at the time that they were working on "In Search of the Lost Chord". They had more songs than they needed for the album and this one was deemed as being not right for that album because it didn't fit well with the concept of the album or the other songs. Thankfully it was released elsewhere.
Totally agreed ,one of my Justin fave ,do thinck they did played it in feb/ march 68 in Paris' s show composer of 2 section ,old numbers and new ones with this and " dofp" ones...

Sad deep song..brings to mind the soldiers who died in WW2,that were buried and have a wooden cross on their Graves.
