- Celebrating 30+ years of Star Trek: The Next Generation. This fantastic series brought me into the Star Trek franchise and changed the course of television history. Over the years, TNG grew the Star Trek fandom and would feature four separate films continuing the voyages of the USS-Enterprise D and E. Thank-you to Gene Roddenberry and Rick Berman, along with all the writers, directors and actors bringing forth this trailblazing series of hope, optimism and friendship.
Featured clips: Various episodes of Star Trek: The Next Generation (1987-1994) and Star Trek: Picard (2023). All scenes belong to Star Trek and Paramount Plus.

Terrific video! Beautifully captures the special warmth of The Next Generation. I miss it! I would have added only one thing: "There are FOUR lights!"
This was one of the best parts of my childhood. To see them reunite and their ship brought so much joy to my heart. It is a true blessing they are all still living and they actually really like each other (no toxic drama like most shows!)

Picard season three gave the Enterprise D a great send-off. Watching the star drive be destroyed in their first movie was horrible. To see the Enterprise D save the day was great.
So sad to see what has become of such a fantastic show. It maybe gone, but not forgotten.

More proof that Star Trek: The Next Generation is one of the best TV shows ever created. I'm sorry to say but it is the best Star Trek series, period. They almost didnt even need the movies. As the last season of Picard proved, TNG is perfect as a TV show. Every show feels cinematic enough.

I love it! Especially the way the USS ENTERPRISE, looks! I think, that is the way the USS ENTERPRISE looked on STAR TREK:TOS. They just didn't have the technology or the money, to make it look the way it does on STAR TREK:SNW
I love how Picard days “Let’s see what’s out there” as if he hadn’t already spent years as captain of the Stargazer, or had a lifetime career in Starfleet. He knew what was “out there”, but it made for a good premiere.

What's sad is the TOS era had it's beloved tribute, now TNG has it's. What will we be giving a 35 year tribute to in the future? Nothing.
Discovery is bad. SNW is okay, but it's not legendary or new.

Hopefully Terry Martalas will be given the green light to create Legacy, starring Seven of Nine, the LaForge daughters, Jack, with TNG characters as recurrings, especially Riker as an admiral. And he must find a way to bring Shaw back too.
