ENSENADA MEXICO 1/20/24 | THINGS TO DO & PLACES TO VISIT IN CRUISE PORT | CARNIVAL RADIANCE

I visited the Ensenada cruise port on 1/20/24 while on a Carnival Radiance 3-day cruise. If you are looking for some things to do in the port of Ensenada, this video shows me walking around town and visiting a few different places.
Here are some of the things I did during this visit:
- I visited the Riviera where Bar Andaluz is located. Bar Andaluz is one of the two places in Ensenada to claim to be the birthplace of the margarita (the other is Hussongs Cantina).
- I walked through an alternative area to visit near the cruise port that has a more "al fresco" type of environment for dining, drinking, live music, etc. It's definitely a different vibe than the area where all the shopping, etc. is done downtown.
- I visited a speakeasy that is located below (and is also part of) Mithos restaurant. I also did a quick tour of the bar and brewery located in the same upper level area of the Mithos restaurant.

Hiii. We just got back from Ensenada. We were there May6-10th. I remember in one of your vids you mentioned Birreria Guadalajara. We stopped there for lunch. It was delicious! We also stopped by a local barber and Joe got a haircut at Mens club hair studio. I got a tattoo at Choice body piercing and tattoo. Ty soo much for your walking tours of Ensenada. Been on Radiance twice, and did the 4 day. I’ve not gotten off the ship in Mexico yet. Not saying there’s anything wrong with it, but I LOVE the peacefulness of the mostly empty ship when it’s in port.

In your travels have you seen a Catholic church in Ensenada?

Just wondering if you feel safe there? have you ever had any issues with people or ?

I have not had any issues there. If you stay in the tourist areas, you will be fine. Just like any place in the United States, there are good places and bad places.

What do you prefer on carnival compared to royal?

I haven’t ever cruised Royal, so I can’t compare. I get really good deals from the casino, so it makes no sense for me to pay full price to sail any other cruise line.

Is there beaches near the port at Ensenada ?

Unfortunately, the beach that is closest to the port is typically closed due to contamination :(
