I picked up this deck recently too. I run 3 dimension shifter since we don't care about our grave that much. Plus you want to have cards banished for gandora and using while going first, it turns off handtraps like veiler or droll.
@ChampionOfSkyrim and this deck profile is using the dogmatika and nadir package, shifter would be bad, with nadir servant, I've been following this deck and the many builds, I'm very much aware of the branded engine for dragoon
Something to mention, Gandora specifically destroys THEN banishes. So if you’re playing against Yubel or unchained, they will get to pop off everything. Or anything with destruction protection Gandora also doesn’t out

Dark magician is yugi's card as much as Atem. Yugi uses dark magician in DSOD which the card effect is based off of. It's still an early archetype so expect more support in the future. They already maded a summoned skull variant

The main problem this deck has right now is that it wants to go second because it has Gandora to board break. The problem is this deck loses to a single ash blossom, let alone a whole board

A good engine that I found that helps make up some of SS weaknesses is the King's Sarcophagus cards. Becomes less of a turn 2 only deck and can do pretty well on either turn. Also like how they still go with the theme too lol. It's been a real fun and simple deck yet still strong. Has so many options and potential depending what you mix it with. Highly recommend people testing these cards out. Hope we get more cards like them.
I'd swap out Fleurdelis with Maximus. Send Garura to GY with Nadir Servant to Grab Maximus, Draw 1 from Garura effect. Special Summon Maximus by banishing Garura from GY. then Maximus effect to send 2 monsters from both Extra Decks. Ideally, you want some of your Extra Deck monsters to have GY effects such as N'Tiis or Enigmaster Packbit and it can open up some more openings for you if you can't get out Gandora right away. You'll also get 3 GY effects off Nadir Servant and Maximus instead of just the 1 GY effect from Nadir Servant.
With the right set up future silence has the potential to be broken but seeing how specific the set up needs to be I personally think it’s balanced enough to not be hit on the ban list any time soon

As a Yu-Gi-Oh noob, i have a question. Would it make sense, to build your deck around the "silent magican zero", with the target to let your opponent draw many cards? For example, 3 silent magican zero in the deck, as well as 3x "Card Destruction", "Disturbance Strategy", "Hand Destruction", ... I mean, if you start with have silent magican zero and card destruction" in your hand.. you can play it, and enpower it with an extra 2500 ATK by letting your opponent draw 5 cards... and when you have "Disturbance Strategy" and activate it during your opponents drawing phase (+500) when he has 6 cards in his hand, you get another 3000 ATK... having a monster with 7000 ATK in the first turn. Or isn't this how this card works?
Need an update with archfiend advent. It’s a walking change of heart on summon. Idk what to cut tho, think it should be played at one. Works really well with the board break philosophy.

When this deck profile video was made, Sam still had no idea how to pilot.. you can tell how he speaks of the combos. it's un enthusiastic. he just needed content for the day. No Guu in here yet
They were announced 5 months or so ago, Means we have 3 - 7 months before they arrive. Some cards get added faster, but usually whole archetypes take 8 - 12 months to arrive on MD. For example, Horus was announced back around June, and should be here next?
Meta players such as Snake Eyes, Horus, Runick, and Tenpai are going to be making the biggest mistakes of their lives by sleeping on this deck. This is YCS/YCS Finals material easily!
Konami got board just seeing Snake Eye at one YCS event that wasn't recorded. They want to see other decks played so this is probably why we may be getting 4 different decks seen this time. Yubel, Shinning Gold, Tenpai, Lightsworn. One of the reasons why I don't go to YVS is because fighting the same one deck is absolutely boring.
If regional data is anything to go off of, snake-eye, tenpai, voiceless voice, and branded will be the meta, kash, melodious, labrynth, purely and runick stun will be close seconds

It is a Yugi deck. Design to keep up with the modern day of the game. Playing for fun it depends on the player. I myself play for fun always, even when playing meta.
And I'm a meta player. Dueling isn't about winning or losing but its nice to win :) Like Jaden once said in GX season 2 "Evolve" Don't be Stuck in the past, change happens every day.
@@fruitybluieblue098 I guess, but still the vast majority of players only game with the same decks out there. Early is there any non conventional decks that play and win. And yeah there have been a few that have risen the ranks recently, and even won a few, but those tournament turnouts are scarce in those countries, while players from big places like America and Japan playing the most meta decks out there. Yeah we gotta evolve, but also try to avoid just being mass copies of one another in pursuit of attaining a "win".
Yugioh has always been playing to win, games just took longer back then, but there was a reason mechanical chaser was the best normal summon before being replaced by Gemini elf and vorse raider, and in those days the meta was just who gets to the bigger normal summon 1st if you don't play 2k walls, the game then evolved into chaos piles with CED, BLS and Chaos Sorc, before moving into Dark Armed Dragon and all the different variants

The problem with shifter is it makes the dogmatika package worse, nadir has zero value under shifter
@@AntCommando Shifter works with the Branded package - Dark Magician + Albaz + 3 Branded Fusion (and 1 Magicalized Fusion if you're feeling saucy)

i feel like this deck is extremely underrated, and has immense potential after infinite forbidden to be meta competitive at the top levels

Idea:
remake all the original starter decks, using nothing but retrains of the exact monsters in those decks.

So far the shining sarcophagus archetype has some good potential based on the combos we have available for it so far.

Because you can't use lightning storm when your cards are on field. Only good for turn 1 going second. Harpie feather Duster is for anytime you wish.
