- A very enjoyable afternoon session spent at Queenstown Road on the South Western Mainline where we see plenty of services from South Western Railway, Southern and Southeastern.
The station was opened in 1877 by the London and South Western Railway and really hasn't changed all that much, platform 1 has been closed for a long old while now but Network Rail have expressed an interest in reopening the platform for the Windsor and Eton trains which allow for greater ease of access for trains running into London Waterloo.
The station sits inbetween 2 flyover, the Brighton mainline carrying trains into and out of London Victoria and South Eastern Mainline doing the same job.
My next station will be London Waterloo.

Well that station kept you busy Tornado, more trains than you could shake your camera at! Love it.
It was certainly keeping me on my toes throughout my stay there
i'm only 4 minutes in, and this is a fab video and a smashing station in terms of variety views up and down the line and 2 other companies passing overhead brilliant video
Thank you kindly
This was probably one of the best videos on this channel if not the best. I very much doubt that you had a proper break before another train turned up on either line.
Well thanks ever so much for saying so, I really enjoyed my time here and will happily come back next year :) I think the longest gap I had whilst waiting for a train was no longer than a minute
Great video Tornado922.
Thanks very much
Brilliant filming jerrard lovely station and with services coming and going from each line well done my friend
Thanks very much! This was a great station to come to
@@Tornado922 have a marry christmas and a great new year jarred my friend 🎅🎄☃️

Thank you very much for saying so :) This was a great station to come to
Mind (not mention Hair) blowing opening, very nice. This day just got better and better as it went on!
This was a great little station to come to!
Yea, great opening speed and just a solid bit of work. Instant Classic!
Superb video. You did well to capture all of those trains on camera.
Thanks very much
The Richmond service was actually a Waterloo looper (in this case it was London Waterloo to London Waterloo via Richmond and Wimbledon
Nice!! A needed pallete cleanser after SWML:Endgame (Clapham Junction)
Pls do trains at Hounslow
I quite like the class 458. I also like the fact that this station is only on the SWML.
Can you do an ecml series focusing on the southern end of it next
I will be doing an ECML series in 3 years time
Might be going to Richmond, I think you mean London Waterloo via Richmond and Wimbledon
Do the Midland Main Line next please.
There will be a few films coming out if not already out from there
another great vid tornado ......why do london trains are long ..meaning 3 sets of one train .....people i know have to get trains in london .but some of them are not full if you get my drift ......
The trains on this network are long because some of the services can be near capacity on weekends especially if there is an event taking place
I love how when you dont know where the train comes from you say "Some Far Distant Land" even tho they only travel like 50 miles LOL
To some people that could be classed as far haha
Tornado922 lol
Btw thx for replying
Means a lot
Watch ur vids since 2015
Great video! I hope you do the MML or BML next!
Midland Main Line!!
If you can I would recommend doing ford and barnham stations I’ve been both recently and they are amazingly busy for small stations and have good views
I will look into them for next year for you
Nice video
Thanks very much
Hi Jarred, great video, was wondering if you know which routes the 707s usually run on? Just asking because saw the announcement that they are going to southeastern soon
Thanks very much! I'm not 100% sure what routes they run on but I think they normally work the route from London Waterloo to Weybridge and London Waterloo to Riverside and Eaton. I'm sure they do some others but those two I definitely know they operate
London Overground can be seen from a distance from this station
I know I saw one of the units whilst filming
My Favourite You Tuber
Btw Your So Funny
Well thank you kindly for saying so
Does the Southern overbridge go to the WLL?
You'll have to enlighten me as to what the WLL is
@@Tornado922 I actually learnt the answer to the original question is no. The abbreviation referred to the West London Line.
Thanks just the same - great job!
458 teddington a bit weird its normally Reading windsor shepperton not teddington a bit rare
I wouldn't know whats rare on this network
Teddington ain’t used by a 458 do you know why just asking
Well, Hounslow is a pretty depressing place...
Why are you dodging vauxhall?
Probably because it's a bit dull and it's just SWR
I was dogging Vauxhall because I was told either to do that or Queenstown Road. I was swayed because Queenstown Road doesn't have any staff members on sight and apparently the staff at Vauxhall can be quite jumpy on people trying to film there
