    Can you pleaseeee make Ap chem videos haha I am taking it next year and I couldn’t survive Ap bio without these videos they are so helpful so there’s no way I can survive Ap chem !!

    These videos are great Mr. J, but this video, in particular, skipped a lot of information in the book that I don't understand!

    Doesn't phosphorylation make chromatin more condensed and reduce transcription?

      Ok, so you can actually do lots of different phosphoryation controls. Generally phosphoryation of histones leads to loosened and activated DNA for transcription, but in mitosis is linked to condensing... And you can also phosphorylate transcription factors which can either activate or inactivate them. So generally they activate but if you look closer they can also inhibit. I was going general here so I know there is lots of nuance I skip. I hope that helps.
