100% my teacher is garbage and just reads off of the college board PowerPoints that you can find online. I want to slam my head into the wall every class.

Ik it’s a year late lol but i might as we’ll say it for anyone else. Basically, if it produces less, it can produce the specific genes needed. If it produces too many genes, it’s possible that it will produce genes that are unnecessary and will just waste energy to make...hope that made sense idk

These videos are great. However, which book is this following? In my book, chapter 18 is entitled “the genetics of viruses and bacteria”. The videos have followed along with everything else so far. And the study guide on the Campbell website is also off.

is turning a gene "off or on" technically mean whether a protein which is coded by those genes is synthesized or not?
Yes in a general sense, although not all genes code for proteins so there are some cases where the RNA is the functional end product.

After 2016, Pearson has changed it's style. However, Mr. J makes his own ways to learn the subject.
