Trust me; I wasn't impressed with the issue either, lmao! The whole install should have taken an hour or so, and with all of the fitting issues it was closer to 3 hours. Also, the included instructions were beyond useless. Still, the lights do appear to be quality and quite sturdy, and they certainly are MUCH brighter than what I had before so overall I am happy that I installed them. Hopefully, this video can be of some help to someone wanting to tackle the install themselves. As always, thanks for stopping by my two-wheeled friend!
Listen buddy. Although your are diff then the ones I am trying to finish on my 97 Ultra Classic the fogs were not plug n play but headlight is. I have the HD shield on top of them am having a heck of alot of fun trying to get back together. Lol. Wanted to say that a few things you went through helped me out. Thanks Gino. Be safe out there.
Thanks much! Yeah, those retaining rings for the fogs never did go back on correctly; the new lights were a smidge too big. I got them to catch (finally and after a pretty good cut to my finger that I edited out!), but they don't fit flush anymore. Oh well. If my trevails were able to help even one person in this project, then it was all worth it!
@@GenomePresents Absolutely it did help. I’m glad u got em on better. Thanks again. Ever in South Florida area riding send me a message I’ll show you around. Take care and thanks again.
@@garymPop Sounds good. I get back home to FL every so often. As cold as it's been here this winter, I am in serious need of some warmer climes to ride in!

Go to Amazon and add ur bike to your “garage” then search for led headlights and most times a bunch will come up that do not fit so be careful to order what fits. My 1997 Ultra Classic set new LED AlyoNed brand 7 inch Motorcycle LED Headlight 4.5" Fog Passing Lights D…fogs were not plug n play but headlight was. They are awesome and were overall easy to install for a non mechanic. Headlight assembly replaces entire old one including inside adjustable mount. Good luck

I will be. My solder iron has never worked right, and I loaned my heat gun to a friend and it came back broken. I can work without the heat gun, but I need to nab a new solder iron and then I can get back in there. Thank you for the advice. I will definitely be going back in there and cleaning the connections up.
Big difference hope they hold up well. Not impressed with the beauty ring problem. Great video. Glad you make it. Thank you.

Does that kit bring that ring kit?
There was a ring included. It was a bit awkward if memory serves.
Do you have a link where you purchased the lights?

Maybe trim your wires coming from the new running lights so you can have some more room in the housing...
Bro, wire nuts are intended for in-home use ONLY. Please solder and shrink wrap your connections.
