Just speculation, but Push th'lil Daisies was their first song to get onto charts (in Australia and New Zealand) and becoming a semi-hit. So he could be jokingly referring to the fact that it was a hit, they got a really good sales bonus.

They kept it in when John Lydon humiliated Dave Kendall by asking if he was wearing a wig and he even tugged on it a bit if I remember right. You could see Dave wanted to cry because he was indeed balding early and wasn't happy about it. He certainly didn't want to be exposed on 120 Minutes by John Lydon.
