lol I instantly pointed out the bottom footage had the CPL filter. you can tell by the slight differences in the headlight glare. that's what gave it away.
ಅಣ್ಣಾ ದೊಡ್ಡ ನಮಸ್ಕಾರ ನಿಮಗೆ ! just 2 days back i asked a question and here you have made a clear video out of it ! thanks for such a responsiveness. i will share your channel everywhere possible ! keep up the quality of content 🙏🏻
ಧನ್ಯವಾದಗಳು. Your question gave me the idea to make a dedicated video on it, so that any similar future questions can be answered with it. Good questions deserve good answers. 👍
Nice video ! thank you for the information. The CPL filters in photography reduces the light by half (1 stop). The ISO or gain of the sensor is increased automatically (in this case) to compensate for the loss. Although the overall brightness of the video in city lights will remain the same, there could be increase in noise in the dark areas without street lights. I got a CPL filter. I am trying it out. Thank You
I think both Z40 and Z50 dashcameras have been discontinued along with their CPL filters as well. Previously they provided a fitment service and later changed to stick on cpl filters. Not really sure if they are still providing those.
Thanks for the informative video. I am planning to buy the 70mai A810 4K HDR dual dash cam. For the front dash cam, I will buy a CPL filter. Do we really need one for the rear cam as well? Please suggest. Thanks
Hi bro, I bought cpl filter for my A810 after saw your video and fitted the cpl to my dashcam. Now the problem is there is some color saturation(rainbow color) in two places in the dash video especially on the day time cloud.. If i remove then there is no color saturation(rainbow color) and in your video thr cloud are not saturated. Do you know the reason.. Also suggested which is the best resolution to record the video. one last question if any stand available in market instead of fit in the windshield to reduce more clares from the video after using cpl.. Conclusion, Need your input on my three questions 1. rainbow color after using cpl 2. stand available to fit the camera 3. good resolution. Thanks in advance
CPL filters don't create any rainbow effect. If it is out producing such, better to get the filter replacement done. You do get a suction mount. Check it out here: amzn.to/3VPhhh8 Best to go with the highest about available 4K resolution
For VIOFO cams, it is available. Not for other brands, as far as I know. And yes, CPL improves the video quality by removing glare and reflection from dashboard. So is it necessary or not depends on your requirement. If you require crystal clear video, then yes it's necessary. If you are okay with videos with some glare , then it's not necessary.
Hi. This is what I’m exactly looking. Thank you for the detailed explanation and with real time example. 👍
Glad to help 👍🏻

A new mirror dashcam is coming up in December. Video will come up soon.

cpl filter did make the video a little dark but well worth it.
Well no. CPL doesn't make videos darker.
Kindly suggest where I can get CPL Filter for DDPAI N5 dual and DDPI X5 pro. Do we also get CPL Filters for the rear camera. Thanks in Advance.
Currently, cpl is not available for N5 or X5 Pro. Not for any rear cameras as well.

Got it from a local store. Would have given link if bought online 😅
