What about subaru legacy 2013? It's the same key and for me it wasn't like this with autopropad g2 turbo. I was on the phone with one tech and he told me that programing can take up to 5 hours till the programer go through all the pincodes and finds the right one. Is that true? Please help

How would you get the pin for the remote if it didn't come with one.I bought a key for 2012 outback didn't come with code my Xtool programmer asked for one couldn't see way past it. Key company says I need a locksmith with with Xtool programmer. I told them that's what I'm using . They said tell my locksmith to use a Xtool. I said ok i will tell myself. I'm new to this what am I missing besides my pro pad and a better key.,
