Hey elite, help nate at average jack archery with his new shop with some good manufacturers prices. He's given you guys alot of good advertising and he deserves it!
I would still rather shim the cams over, instead of tilting the limbs, to achieve the same result. I'm used to shimming cams and have that technique down to 10 minutes, having done so many in the past decade. I still prefer Bowtech's Deadlock system for this reason.
The manual states that you should check your center shot after adjusting SET but you didn’t go through that procedure here. Is it necessary to adjust center shot after moving SET?
While checking over my bow for hardware tightness, I accidentally turned my SET. I didn’t seem to notice any difference in my shooting. Am I okay since I didn’t have to lock down screw loose or do I need to get over to my pro?
The rest ought to be centered left/right up/down, and if it's paper tearing left or right, then something else needs moved. It's just a school of thought. It's not the only way.
I got a new Remedy and notice that my SET screw was on the right side of the bow. What is up with that? QA issues going on here? It was an easy fix just by removing the set screws on the nut and completely removing the bolt and flipping it. Still annoying that I had to do it though. This is a left handed bow though but my left handed Rezult, the SET screw is in the correct position. Left side of the bow. I did look at other pictures of left handed Remedy’s and non of them was like mine.
Not so easy as you say. My Era will not tune using your set tech or moving rest. Left tear approx 2" Did exactly as Elite instructions said too and it still has 1" tear left and no adjustment left for tuning.
Sure it’s not your grip? I spent days tuning and thought there was no way I was torquing. But guess what. I was. Watching average Jack explain bow grip. I had too high of a wrist. Needed a low wrist grip and boom. No more torque.
You cant achieve the same with rest adjustments. Your rest should be at centershot. Period. You address cam lean by either shimming or tilting your cams to square them up, but I do agree that Elite's method is not the best out there. I'd prefer to yoke tune than tilt my entire limb assembly. Bowtech has the best system followed by Mathews and Hoyts shimming systems.

Quick and concise! Good job as always, brother.
Just picked my new Omnia today. Can’t wait to take it out in the field!
Nicely done Nathan! Great explanation.

Yeah. But now everyone has a bow press. Like me.

Only if you move it more than a full turn in either direction. I've had my kure for 2 years now and I'm telling you from experience

So I can remove that bolt without having to put in a press or something? Mine was really tight and I've stripped the Allen head.
@@orrenwhite4664 yes you don’t need a press. Remove set screw, then nut, then the entire bolt can be removed.
@@Scjon03 thanks 😊

Are your arrows the correct spine?
SET sound like a gimmick, why bother with all the screws and risking too much cam lean if you can achieve same with rest adjustments??

First I need to know where to set the center shot on my elite ethos
Awesome but nahh I didn't untune a bow to precisely retune it for a video...
Fair enough!
Lol, I agree .
