I had the honor of being your 100th like. Over 37,000 people have viewed your video, but only 100 of us cared to give you a thumbs up? That’s crazy. Anyway… I think your recipe video is the best. I’ve watched lots. You also gave me the idea of filling the bait canisters and freezing them. The masking tape idea is also supreme. That will keep it from squishing out when you press it in there. This is June 4, 2023 as I type this. I went up to area seven for the shrimp opener on May 24. It opened with a four-day season this year and then has two subsequent three day seasons and finally, finishes off with a four-day season in July. I’m going back on June 20 to get in on some limits of spot shrimp for the three day season. I’m going to be using your bait ideas! We will be soaking pellets overnight, and mixing those into the cat food and mackerel and tuna. Thanks for posting this!
Here is what I do, take an electric meat grinder and use the large stuffing tubes. I grind up the fish heads and guts then freeze it works great down around Port St. Joe and Appalachia Cola Florida. Just poke a bunch of holes in the tubes before putting them out in bait canisters or remove tube all to gather
No issues mixing it, all you need is gloves. I regards to cost. Any sort of hunting or fishing will always cost you more in gear and licenses than going to a fine restaurant or buying from a local market. Same could be said about vacations. Save your money and watch a Hawaiian vacation on You Tube (-;
use a hand grinder (amazon 20 bucks) and paint mixer to stir and with all that money spent on salmon mackerel and tuna you could by shrimp cooked cheaper
all you need for shrimping is any off the shelf shrimp pellets. shrimp will eat anything that's on the ocean floor, that' what they do. the important part of shrimping is dropping your pots where the shrimp are. pellets are designed to time release a scent trail.

Thanks for including your catch at the end. It’s so annoying that most people do not show the results of their bait recipe.
We were up in the San Juans, WA and were pulling pots with 200's in them. Be sure to let your pots soak a minimum of 2 hours with frozen bait.

Wow, I just finished the video. You’re using the longer bait tube and you just let it float inside the trap? Am I getting that right?
Sir please send me the name of that ingredients for bait shrimps!
